Stand the carb upside-down (as pictured below) on a desk or similar and use a steel rule to measure the distance X in the diagram. Place the end of the rule in the red rectangle, take measurement from the side as arrowed. Should they need adjusting, bend the small tab circled, being very careful not to break it. YPVS TONE Posted January 15, 2011 Share Posted January 15, 2011 Just remember when checking to make sure that the adjusting tang of the float (item A in first diagram) is JUST touching the tip of the needle valve (item as it is spring loaded and if you let the floats rest under their own weight you will get a false reading .Tony Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
