No I haven't.

It should top out around 92mph.

Have you had it serviced recently?

no i havn,t had it serviced, ive just bought it so i don,t know its history either..allthough the tax disc ran out a year ago...so maybe could be bad fuel sitting in the carb for a year...

Step 1: Get it fully serviced.

Have your guys look over it completely, checking everything. Drain and replace all the fluids - Brake, fuel, oil sump, final drive etc.

Replace filters and spark plugs, too. Check tuning, grease all the greasy bits - The whole sha-bang!!

Once she's all checked out, then we start seeing if she has a real problem!!

Could be, but my XVS1300 has a 33bhp restriction on it (until May this year!) and it'll do 80mph with me + the missus on it so I imagine the 650 would get above 60mph (assuming it's done right). Even my XVS125 with its 13bhp gets up to 60mph.

I guess if its getting a full service they could check out any restrictions while they're at it...

The 650s will do 90 with a restriction kit on.... Trust me ;)
