XS 400 Fork oil changing tips

Hi, i must change Fork oil on my old Yamaha 1981 XS 400.

Have you some tips to do this job easyly ?

What tools must to have, is there some specific tools ???

I am waiting your informations to do this job.

is it the dohc xs400 or the sohc xs400?

You need to remove the plastic cap, and push down the metal button while removing the circlip with a couple screwdrivers. It takes a lot of force to push it down. I wedge in a 3/8" drive ratchet with 1/4" adapter and tiny metric socket between the handlebar and the button, and it'll sit there solid while you work around it:
