Hi Phil First thing you need is a workshop manual then replace the oil pressure switch or just check it wiring, the location of which will be in the manual.

Great to meet up again guys, interesting rideout that's the first time I've got lost on the two stroke rally and first bit of green laning, But not my first rub of the green this weekend (hey what happens at sqiures stays at squires) if you missed it, its cause you wasn't there. Really nice ride home stopped at stalybridge for a full Monty, translation for any southerners (big breakfast) then it started to rain as I got into Manchester surprise supise, then the wind picked up but didn't let get me down, I wasn't in any hurry to get home just bimbled along then stopped off at a mates house just outside Delamere for a brew. I got home about two hours ago, had shower and a nap now ready for my tea. Glad you all got home ok, See you guys and hopfully a few more faces next year

Kev when you say checked fuse, have tried cleaning the contacts as that had me stumped once, went through every thing else before I found it. Those leky gremlins can be really hard to find.

could be either or but my bet would be with finnerz, shit gets in those switches get it off, clean the terminals with a bit of wet/dry then a squirt of wd40 or for you kev, (lazy bastards way) just squirt wd40 in switch as you rock it on and off a few times

Well if a daggie is your thing go for the 650. I know we all get attached to a certain bike but if it ain't got the power you need, better to upgrade as others have said.

It was an amazing adventure with a great bunch of guys, best holiday I've ever had but don't tell Mrs xs I said that. I haven't posted any pics as we pooled all our pics on whatsapp and as I've not got to grips with flicker yet, I thought just leave it to Drew who done a better job than I would have done anyway.

Last day and it's raining but had brilliant holiday, managed to drop my bike yesterday but all ok no damage to me or the bike just dented my pride but not my enthusiasm straight back on

Been to busy enjoying ourselves, we've taken loads of pics, will try an post them when we get back. Weather has been brilliant although was very hot up to 45 a few days ago, we're up in the mountains the last couple of days and it's been a bit cooler. The roads are amazing, went to Andorra yesterday and off over to France tomorrow. We head back on Wednesday but won't get home till Friday, Drew had not been able to log in while away ? But I'm sure you'll hear from him by the weekend, hope to see most of you at Squires soon where I can show off my tan... not really! Don't get much of a tan in bike gear or at the bar
