Hi Old Git, Nope, theres no Pri on the fuel cock, will take out the sparks and drizzle some oil... Have been told a few drops of petrol will help getting the first "bang?!?!"... Not checked, but what socket size for the sparks?.... Just saves me a few minutes - I hate the cold!... I know, I'm a pansy.. Regards, -Mits-

Tried Starting Gabs on Saturday.... Battery is fully charged (trickle charged using optimiser) Starter turns over perfectly fine... Fuel in tank, Fuel cock on RES (AS the level is a lil bit low, but way enough for 30 miles) When I put the ignition on, there is a puck puck puck noise, (Presumably the feul pump priming the system?) Tried starting her, but there is just no bang!... She has been in the garage and not been started for abt 2 months :-` I've been told I might just need to keep the starter spinning a bit longer (been giving it short 10 second bursts) Any tips?.. PS On my lawnmower I tend to wizz out the spark and warm the spark side up and Larry fires up after half a yank!... Should I warm the sparks on Gab up as well?..... Just a bit cautious I dont damage anything inadvertantly by doing so.... Any tips help would be more than welcome.. :-) Thanks, -Mits-

Hi there, My battery cover panel is looking a bit worse for wear (looks like the exhaust heat is getting to it - bubbles in paintwork) There appears to be some sponge on the inside of the panel which is making it protrude more than what I would say is usual.... Is this sponge OEM or has it been placed by some ruff bugger in the past?!?!.. Any1 else have this problem?.. regards, -Mits-
