Hello mate, I owned one of these too - mine was from new and never had a cowl, just the normal seat. Sounds like the dealer may have a cowl that may just fit in stock!!! Enjoy the bike, I recall it was great fun, extending to a magnet for the old bill which is why I sold mine

Alright guys and gals. Any one got any recommendations on which double bubble looks best for the 08 R6? I need to change my stock one, and cant decide which to plump for? Looking at the Puig, seems good but can only get one image. What have the rest of you guys got? Cheers Nick

Hi everyone. Did you guys manage to order these blanking plates? I checked their website and they are not listed (not that I could see) and I have had no response from their e-mail? Just fitted a genuine Yam rear seat cowl to my graphite. Looks the nuts. Difficult to know when to stop with the customs!

Hi All Anyone got any experience/photos/info on how the hell you get to the air filter on the 2008 R6? I brought a pipercross unit, but seems a pain to fit?????????????? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Has anyone out there got any views on whether the pipercross air filter upgrade is worth the money? Im not talking about doing the race version, just the £60 road version. Anyone got any advice on upgrading my 08 R6 standard can with something a bit more grunty? See my other post in the Bar; want something legal and only want the can. Got out noised by a CBR 600 yesterday made mine sound like a mincers bike. Not good.

Hi All, Anyone got any recomendations for a legal slip on can for the 08 R6? I have (until now) a standard bike, but having went out yesterday with a mate who has got a CBR 600 and another with a Ducatti felt totally embarrased by the pitiful noise of mine!! Cant be having that - gotta do something! Dont want anything illegal and dont want a full unit, just want to slip the current one off and replace it with something a bit more manly!
