Have you ever thought of Joining the IAM............SKILLS FOR LIFE http://www.iam.org.uk/eshop/membershipshop/sfl.htm Im doing mine now over half way there some ppl think its for old men BUT ill tell you now I WILL SAVE YOUR LIFE you will learn all aspects of advance riding which also covers filtering and for £80 aint bad once you pass you get discount on your insurance too plus others discounts
  8. if you are filtering up to a red light at a pelican crossing NEVER go to the front stay behind the first car until it has moved from the crossing. if you DO go to the front and pull away from the front car/van ect it is classed as overtaking on a pelican crossing and that WILL get you 3points+

  14. try and double check that your indicators are switched off after a turn. cancel them then do again just in case, as i failed for it . I passed a junction with indicator on still very dangerous (yes i know im a Muppet but it is easy to miss) also don't pull to close behind a cars at the lights if you stop leave your self room on your U turn do a good shoulder check if you move more than two car lengths do another b4 you turn most of all relax and enjoy the ride, if you are all stiff and tensed then it will show on your riding Good luck mate im sure you will do well hope this helps:) let us know how you get on Stevo
  15. I bought a set of XENON HEADLIGHT BULBS the blues ones and i have used the H4 but i cut it down to fit as it was too big my right bulb is a H7 but that fitted ok:)

    Camera mount

yeah didn't take long being a square block the hard part was done just milled a 22.5 mm hole for the bars then two bolt holes then cut in half then milled a hole down for the tripod bit to bolt through. to Finnish it off i gave it a brush Finnish to match the bike:)

    Camera mount

bought a cheap camcorder last week and was wondering how to mount to the bike. the price for these camera mount are way over the top. so i nipped into my dads shed and found a block of ally after 40mins of miling and cutting i came up with this... I took the top piece from an old tripod i had:) this is a small clip from the camcorder fitted to the bike it was about 7:45pm so the light was fading but the quality is good still http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=eH2fpFUNo7M

    Noooooob

Its bloody frustrating as i had this bike since Saturday and i still haven't had a chance to ride it. due to no road TAX can't get the tax until my insurance sends me the cover note so the Honda is the only comparison i have at the moment. so im sory ya gonna have to put up with me going on about it until i get to ride FZ hehehehehe
  21. If it helps my VFR has gone back for a third time for a respray. the paint keep splitting -shrinking-
  22. Mine was the VFR 750 and i still have it. I just got a FZ600 and it ment to have the same engine as the R6 just not as powerful. but i have not had chance to ride it yet and it been in my garage for 2 days IT'S KILLING ME NOT RIDING IT.....
  23. This is my first yamaha it a 2004 model but already there are a few rusty bits poking through, is this normal for a fairly new bike or am i just unlucky? theres not much rust but its starting I picked it up 2days ago. sorry guys BUT this is the bike that has really stolen my heart tho i have got to sell it but im finding it hard to tho lol This bike is 20 years old has done 78 thousand miles and still runs great no leaks no shaking , no weird noises. just a fantastic ride
