I've had some good quotes from Motorcycle Direct and Bike Team when I was a new rider. Bike Team were particularly good, on my last bike (Daytona 650 from new) I was getting silly quotes from everyone, i.e. £2500 to £4000, and Bike Team insured me fully comp with business use for about £800 and that was for a bike which was group 15 ungaraged in an M15 (Hulme!) post code. Needless to say, I've been with them for a few years now, although they may not be as good now as I notice they got bought up by a big fish earlier this year. Worth a go though as they both do online quotes...

Absolutely! Especially as I've not been able to go, due to other commitments, since the 'big swim' of 2005!

I think Hein Gericke do a dog carrier, it's was in the paper catalogue, but I couldn't find it on the online shop as they've probably not got a pet section on there!

Hello there! This is my first post on here and I've just left a deposit on a shiny new FZ1 Fazer after having a fantastic couple of demo rides on it. One quandry that I'm in at the moment though is, as I use the bike for commuting I was thinking of getting the Yamaha side panniers with the bike, but as I don't want to take these all the time, does anyone have any pictures of what the bike looks like with just the frame fitted, but without the panniers attached? The reason I am asking is I wouldn't want to take them off and leave the bike looking a complete mess and (rather unsurprisingly) I can't find any pictures on the net of the frame only. I'd appreciate a fairly quick response as I really should tell the dealer that I want these fitted soon having already ordered the bike! Other than that, I'm really looking forward to taking delivery very soon! Thanks in advance. JB
