I have a 2010 XT125X - and noticed from day one that the dash clock runs about 2mins slow a day. I contacted Yamaha UK who showed practically no interest in this issue stating that 'it was standard' on these models!! Has anyone else noticed this issue and would anyone else like to make comment about how a multinational technology giant cannot even fit a clock that keeps time to their products? Should I just drop the issue or pursue it? Any comments welcome.

Hi Guys, I'm having some issues with my XT600e engine head and I will need to replace it in short future unfortunately. One of the exhaust bolt is broken from the 4 and the spark plug comb is on the lose also. I have found "cheap" engine head from US ebay but all of them are for old XT600. So my question is that the "new" 2003 XT600e engine head is compatible with the old XT600 models? (2003 the last XT600 model the changed to new model XT660 as you know) For example: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Yamaha-XT-600-NC-1985-XT600-Cylinder-Head-and-Rocker-Box-Rockers-/161069941201?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item25808441d1 Or if someone would know so…

Hello, I'm Len Doyle. 60 years old and buying my first Yamaha after 40 odd years of mostly Brits and Hondas. I've been attracted into a project XTZ660 from 1992. It will need some attention, but should be nice fairly quickly, if I can find the parts. Anyone know a stockist for plastic body bits? Front mudguard, radiator cowls etc. Is there a specialist breaker out there? Len

Hi All, First off a very Merry Christmas to you all. After not riding for over twenty years this will be my first time back out on two wheels once I get the old girl back up and running. I recently acquired an '88 XV400 Virago and I am in the process of getting her back on the road. having a little high idle and back fire issue when on the throttle but other than that she looks like a clean well cared for bike for the age. if any of you could point me to the best places to get technical advice and where to buy spare parts that would be awesome. One question I do want to know, and if anyone has any ideas it would be appreciated is this. What other fuel…
