Hi everyone, I’m an old biker returning to ownership after a few years bringing up kids with a bike-resistant Wife! I am converting a nice (my2000) 1100 Dragstar Custom into a bobber and wondering what tyres are available for a 110/90 R18 front wheel? Not many it seems and I was hoping to find a whitewall matching set! 🙄 If anyone knows of a WW set for this model, please let me know. It’s good to be here! cheers Chris

I’ve picked up a Diversion XJ-F with 17k on the clock. The Divvy was looking a bit rough, a bit neglected and in sore need of some pennies invested. All is done and I have a very smart looking bike, a quick check online reveals I have a boring commuter bike only worthy of a few trips down the bypass and nothing more! I am amazed because I only use bikes for fun and only travel straight roads if no other routes are available and this little Yamaha does not disappoint! Admittedly it needs a little encouragement but keep the motor between 7k and the limiter and she pops along very nicely indeed. The front brake needs a good pull but the rear is great and the gearbox is super…

Hi, I am new to this site and joined to try and get some help with my bike. I bought a 1300 XVS Custom (Stryker) in February. The bike rode well but sounded too polite. From videos on you tube i seen a few people has drilled holes into the end plates of the exhausts to improve the sound. However since doing this the bike runs erratically at low revs and stutters and shudders when turning throttle. Is this a simple tune up job for a Yamaha garage or is there anything else i need to do ??

I have a 1960's yamaha 80cc bike, is red in color and has upswept pipe on right side. Fork tube covers are retangular in shape which I can find any pictures of bikes with these. Tank has round yamaha emblems, also throttle cable runs thru handlebars. I think its a 1965 YG1. Any help with what this bike is would be great. Thanks Ray

From a pile of parts I have built a basically running "cafe" style bike. in order for it to be 100% i only need one part. the carburator insulating gasket. this is the gasket that mounts the carb to the cylinder head. this is the bike and my project car.

Hello everyone, I am new to motor bikes and have no idea what is going on with my bike. My bike is spitting oil out of the exhaust pipe and at the top of the pipe where it connects to the engine (as well as white smoke!), this is following adding oil to the crank box. Hope someone can help, this happens every time i add oil to the crank box like it needs. Any ideas on how to fix this issue? <img src="http://i43.tinypic.c…

Hello all, I have started a new membership since my email has changed. It's now [email protected]. I got my YAS1C started this weekend after restoring and fixing the leaks in the gas tank and replacing fuel lines, etc. It is smoking terribly periodically, which causes the engine to misfire and sometime die. From what I can read this is likely caused by the crank seal leaking. Make sense? Any help on where I can find a replacement? Also need to rebuild the oil injection pump (I think), so will be in need of replacement parts for the oil pump as well. Any help you can provide with sourcing these parts and their replacement would be much appreciated. Thanks!…

I have acquired a 1970 yamaha h3d. It's a 2 stroke 90cc. This information is going off information yamaha gave me from the vin number. It has been sitting for 20+ years. The restoration is slow but is going fine parts are hard to find for that exact model but have been sourcing parts off various other similar models. Just wondering if anyone knows where these bikes were released and if there many made or if they are called another model because all the parts websites I have found do not list this model any info would be great

Greeting! I bought my Yamaha new 40 years ago. I have 2600 miles on it and runs great. I think I need rear shocks since it starts bouncing at around 50 mph so I was wondering if anyone had a line on where I could get some.

My name is Doug and I could really use some help with some specs here. I need to know the torque setting on the head bolts when tightening it, and how tight do you tighten the bolts on the pressure plate. Does anybody have a service manual they would be willing to part with for this bike?
