Hi All, As per the title, a big hello from this Scotsman in North Yorks. My 2011 YBR 125 is being delivered tomorrow and from my experience of cars, I think its always best to join an owners forum so that you can help others if possible, and in-turn, get the best advice around from like minded people. I've been riding for about 10 years but only on a CBT with bikes of 125cc. I've just re-done my CBT and really enjoyed it. My YBR should be a good practice machine and I definitely want to do my test in July when I'm on holiday from work. Maybe a dirty word around here but I have my eye on one of the new Kawasaki ER-6Fs. Anyway, I just thought it'd be good manners …

Hi, New to this forum (and quite a rookie biker too). Did the Direct Access course a few years back and bought an XJ600S Diversion because I wanted an intro to big bikes, also something with a fairing that was ok on motorways, etc. I've been fairly happy pottering around on my own but have recently started going out on longer distance rides and more twisty roads and have found the handling disappointing when trying to keep up with the 'big boys'... Partly my inexperience I guess, plus the Divvy wasn't designed to be a sports bike, but is there anything I could do to improve things in the handling department? A mate suggested fitting a bigger rear tyre; is that a…

Hey Folks, Just got myself a 98 Divvy 600n in red (I've heard red ones go faster!). Loving the bike and itching to get the Jinlun sold so I can out on the new bike. Happily the bike appears to 100% solid and apart from a flat battery when I got it all seems to be good. While I'm at liberty to post in the noob section a quick question about the suspension in these bikes. Is it really supposed to be so soft! There's no leakage or anything just really, erm, couchy ;O) Anyhoo. If that's how it is, that's how it is. If it ain't broke etc... (learned that from my Audi ) SO. Looking forward to some cheerfull banter. C.

Well I did it bought my first Yamaha. Although I won't be riding it due to its size my boy has been getting a kick out of it. I got him a 2003 PW-50 which he is a little big for but he has to younger siblings that will enjoy it when he is ready to move up in size. I'm glad to see there is a place I can find all the information I need on fixing it and keeping it up.

WHERE IS ENGAND???????? And before any one says we can use United Kingdom, so could the Scots and the Welsh. What`s good for the goose an all that. Cheers DR.

Hi, I owned a previous XV750SE for 11yrs. A few years without one and now have another. Not sure how to tell if it is an SE or H (Yank import) but will ask that in another posting. A Londoner in exile in west Kent. Off now to have a look around the forum.

Yo, I'm currently running a 96' XTZ 66O Tenere and during a brake overhaul managed to snap off the rear brake calipur bleed nipple (don't even go there, It's back enough that I did it!!) I'm currently searching for a second hand replacement as my attempts to drill/ release/free and remove the remaining stub didn't work and have consequently screwed the calipur and left me with no options but to find a replacement. Can anyone help/point me towards a decent second-hand replacement and thus get the tired and cantankerous old dog (the bike, not me) back on the highway? Regards, The archaeologist.

Hi All I've been a biker all my life, but have recently had to give it up. I am still a biker and it will always be in the blood. I have a new Hepco & Becker top rack for a drag star in the shed out the back and would like to shift it on. Think they are £132 new. Is it worth £50!!!

Hi. I've had a warm welcome and some sound advice on this members' club since I joined a few days ago, and so I've come back for more. Everyone that responded to my previous post on here has encouraged me - at the ripe old age of 61 - to "go for it" and to buy the Dragstar Classic 650 cc that I've had my eye on since passing my test last summer. Trouble is I've now seen a 2004 Dragstar Classic 1100 cc for a very good price and it's in mint condition. Given that I passed my DAS test on a Kawasaki 500 cc and have since been riding a Daelim Daystar 150 cc every day is the jump in engine size to 1100 cc a completely daft idea? It seems that there is very little in it whe…

Hi, I bought my dragster 125 about 8 months ago not runing with the intention of bobbing it as my first bike project. I managed to get the engine runing breafly but not test driven as I had not done my cbt and the bike was not road worthy. But the engine was running well so I started restoring the bike, 8 months of a lot of hard work and looking forward to riding it this summer. I finally finished the bike the day before the mot and managed to get a couple of test runs out of her and all seemd good. The mot went excellent not one bad thing said. Glowing in fact. On the way back from the mot was where it all started to go wrong. there was a bit of rattling from the clutch …
