here she is, a steel at £250 although the only probs are a dodgy hand paint job (the log book says red and white) and it on a Q plate reregigistered in 1993 so dont know the exact year of manifactur any way here she is with a 1985 honda mtx125 and a 1990 suzuki dr125 like goin back in time lol speek soon peeps

Hi has anyone had problems with there throttle. I had my bike pinned and then it wouldnt stop. Apparantly it might be something to do with the carb. not sure any thoughts? cheers

Hey guys was going for a ride on my DT 125 2000 when half way through my trip the bike just died. and after removing the spark plug and replacing it there is no spark. I have replace the ignition coil and regulator but still no joy the the dash works etc..... but bit strange how the bike just died. any ideas?

only seen these for the older models and not the dtx, but arnt all dt's reedblock's the same?? cheers in advance

Hi, I have been restoring the bike for about 6 months now and its nearly all together, i put the new battery in and tried the electrics... the good news is it has a good spark the side light works on the second click of the key and the back light works! But no headlight no ignition light no neutral light and the horn dosn't work.. ..I havn't tried to start the bike yet as i want to get the electrics right first. I will try to put a photo on here soon. If anyone has any advice as to what the problem could be it would be greatly apreciated.

Hi, was thinking of buying some super motard wheels for my dtr 125 07. Whats a reasonable price for some used good condition wheels and tyres? And would i get much for the original wheels that are on it? Cheers , scott

hi just got my self a 2002 dt 125,its been stood for a while so i thought it would be best to change the fluids and plug,can any1 tell me what gearbox oil/grade,2 stroke oil and spark plug to get/use thanks

Hellooo, I'm thinking about getting more of an off roasd tyre on my DT125RE but the specifications standard are, Front tyre dimensions: 80/90-21 Rear tyre dimensions: 110/80-18 and the ones i'm thinking about getting are, Front tyre dimensions: 80/100-21 Rear tyre dimensions: 110/100-18 will they fit without them popping off the rim? or is it a big nono - Thanks for reading

Couple months ago I had a really good site bookmarked, but after a harddriver-crash I had to get a new one and lost that site. The reason to that I'm looking for the site it because they had plastic to Yamaha DT125R 2003, just like mine, and other "odd/old" 125ccs like CRM etc, not the newer one as WRR or whatever they are called. im trying to source some blue handlebars for my dtr sm but cannot seem to find any,does anyone know where i can purchase some.

Does anyone know what this is called or have apart number? Its the clouded/white plastic clip that guides the front brake hose down to the caliper and holds it to the fork leg. I need a replacement and can't find it on the parts manual/ diagram.

I recently had to replace my oil level check bolt because the threads were stripped. That was simple but ever since putting the clutch cover back on I can't get the clutch to work properly. I think it has to do with the push rod and push lever not being properly set. But I don't know what else to do. When I pull my clutch handle in I feel the rod pushing the entire distance. So it isn't like I have too much slack and the rod isn't moving far enough. But even with the clutch pulled all the way in the gears will not disengage. I'm a bit of a noob though. I'm not totally sure what the rod is supposed to do. I think the push lever rotates clockwise when the clutch …

Can anyone tell me what the valve clearances are meant to be? It sounds slightly tappy in the head wondering whether this is normal as i've not had any experience with old yamaha four strokes. Cheers, Chris.

hey guys i have 2 75 dt 250 enduros im going to make one good bike from the 2 and with my second motor it will be going in a golf cart witch is almost done. my question to you is what wires do i need to hook up to get it to spark. i need the harness for the other bike so i dont want to hack it all up. this bike does not run a battery. thanks,

Hello again, the Dt developed a head leak so I have removed the barrel and ordered a new gasket set, I thought it best while I was at it to check the faces were flat but I now have to re fit and I dont have a piston ring compressor, as there are only two rings I was hoping it should be easy enough. I was planning on cutting a slot in a piece of ply and sliding it under the piston and around the con rod to lock it in place. any suggestions or hints gratefully received. Soon I shall have adjusted and replaced everything on the bloody thing and by then I hope to be able to ride it

Hey guys, Went to start the bike, but wouldn't turn over, said battery was minimal, when i had it on the charger the other day said it was fine. anyway oiked out the kick start, it turned over with choke out, got the revs up for a minute and slowly let out the throttle, engine cut out, repeated the same process with same effect a number of times. It seems it will turn over but then just cuts out if I release throttle or put choke in... Any ideas? Regards Paul
