For those of us in the Sarf, The Huntsman MCC are holding their annual motorcycle show on 27th July. This is at the Huntsman pub in Eridge, Kent, TN3 9LE. Never been but I've got a mate who lives near there and he says it's always a good day out (but he rides a Triumph Bonneville so his judgement might be suspect ).

I am part of a large group of motorcyclists that on the weekend of the 20th/21st of June 2009, will ride from Edinburgh to Belfast, on to Dublin, then back across the water to Cardiff and finish in London at the Ace Cafe, all in under 24 hours. Oddly enough, we’re calling the event The Longest Day Ride 5 Capitals challenge. We are aiming to raise £5000 in aid of Make A Wish Foundation, a charity that works with children who have life threatening illnesses, granting them what for many, sadly, will be their final wish. www.make-a-wish.org.uk Make A Wish Fou…

The venue has been moved again! After last years "wettest ever" event at Anglesey they have moved it to Darley Moor race circuit near Ashbourne in Derbyshire, on Sat 10th and Sun 11th May 2014. The cost is £5 for the event for both days for spectators or £15 for the weekends camping. I know it was always free at Northwich..I went every year..but i didnt go because it was free..I went for the bikes. I am going with some friends on the Friday to camp for the whole weekend. On the Saturday we are taking a ride out to the nice roads of Lincolnshire and lunch at Willingham Woods. Saturday night is back at camp having a beer or 3 and spend Sunday browsing the t…

Well it is 2014, Squires seems to still be for sale. There is no updated info yet on the annual 2 stroke rally - I know it is a little early. It seems that for 2014 they are going to charge for bike and tent camping. The questions are; Are we holding on for Squires to see what happens? Are we going to tag along to a different event? Are we going to start something new? Should we just not be bothered? There were 13/14 of us at Squires last year, I know that some were day trippers and some won competitions on a 4 banger but I just thought I would mix it up and ask. It may mean a different location or time of year. All we need is something similar. Any thoughts? …
