Hi everyone. just been doing a bit of research. im currently 16 and paid £180 for Third party fire and theft insurance on my 1989 Yamaha DT50MX with Swinton bikes it will cost me £117 for TP F&T insurance on my Yamaha DT50 next year, when im 17 and have taken a full bike test but only £153 TP F&T on a honda CB250. as opposed to about £1,500 for insuring a car. So, having done my research i have concluded that it will be cheaper and easier to take my full bike test and get a honda CB250 instead of getting a car which will cost more to run and more for insurance, lessons e.t.c. BUT, is there a yamaha equivelant to the honda CB250 that would cost ab…

Geez, that didn't last long Following Camels recent announcement, Yamaha Factory Racing would like to express its thanks to Camel and Japan Tobacco International for their partnership and support over the 2006 MotoGP season. Our thanks go out to all those involved in the project; they have formed an important part of our team over the past year. It has been a great honour for Yamaha to work with such an experienced sponsor and Camels enthusiasm throughout the season has been greatly appreciated by the entire Yamaha Factory Racing Team and the Yamaha Motor Group. It'll be interesting to see who ends up being their main sponsor.

Im really annoyed about this and want to make everyone buying this bike aware of my situation. First of all I love this great 600cc Yam its great for commuting to work in the summer months, which is the main reason I bought it. I bought the bike in June 2008, and one of the selling features were the bike was covered by a 2year warranty, and required servicing every 6000miles or Annual. What i didnt know and had no reason to suspect an issue with was the rip off servicing schedule requirments of this bike. Apparently if you ride the bike like me "low mieage you are penalised". Just had the bike 12 months so booked it in to have its Annual service (covered 3361mile…

Afternoon all. Is there anyone out there that can possibly give me some advise on how to wheelie my Yamaha YZF-R 125. I have been told it's not that easy due to the Power : Weight Ratio. If anyone could give me some advise from personal experiance that would be great. Thankyou. Stunting isn't a choice, It's a way of life.

Not sure if many of you are aware of this, and to be honest as long as you aren't doing anything wrong it shouldn't be a problem, because as we all know our security services are 100% pure of any hint of mis-using this information, I mean, it's not as if we'd ever go to war over something they mis-represented is it ? http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/7985339.stm Anyway, now Big Brother can see where you've been, who you are talking to and what you are reading. So if you want to keep things a secret - buy a newspaper, use a payphone and leave your GPS/Mobile Phone/Blackberry at home!

Couple of weeks ago I found a beautiful looking pair of 1978 forks for my DT175 on Ebay that were in the US. If they were as good as the pictures I'd scored myself a decent pair that only needed new seal, oil and a little bit of a polish and they'd have been like new. So in anticipation of their arrival I bought some news seals and some oil for them. I was tracking them daily and after a slight delay because of bad weather everything was going swimmingly, until yesterday evening when I noticed on the tracker "Undeliverable" Never seen it before so I messaged the seller and asked if it would be an issue. Turns out I'm not getting them and according to …
