Just had an email from 3 stating that they are increasing my monthly mobile phone contract charge. Is this even legal? How can they just decide to increase my mobile phone charge?

I really despise this complete bag of shit that has ruined the music industry. Every year the winner gets the Xmas number 1 and brings their shitty album out compiled mainly with covers. Some spoilt little shit wins and becomes a popstar (for at least a few months) and it's all we hear about in the media. An horrible little shit who has never worked a day in their life and haven't even become an adult and joined the real world. I never watch the crap but from what I have seen and heard none of them have any natural talent (all their voices are electronically enhanced using computers). They are told what to say, wear, act, eat, drink etc. they are even given their sob stor…

Was out on my xj 600 diversion last night when I came off it. First bike crash now part of the club. The bike seems fine mechanically but the bike fairing is all smashed. Was thinking about making it a naked bike and was wondering how easy this would be on the xj.

hi peeps i am now starting to remedy th elist of faults produced during my '89 XJ600s' MOT, the mudguard has now been secured with a custom bracket fabricated to hold it in place, fork seals have arrived, waiting to be changed. now the headstock bearings, they arent notchy but they need adjusting... how do i get to them to adjust them? i can see one of the nuts on the top of the headstock but i cannot get to the locknut which (i assume) is on top of it under a small plastic fairing between the handlebars which i cannot see a way of removing. help? -Steve

So Ive just gone and ordered a new XJ6N and was looking at exhausts for them. Man are they hard to find. What I am after is getting that fruity sound. Not bothered about extra HP as I dont want to buy a full system. Anyone got any suggestions on what they have found and where to get them in the UK. My biggest concern is the blackbox cat and silencer, do they pretty much nerf anything but a full system? Anyhelp greatly appreaciated.

I know I'm quite emotional anyway, so this story especially touched me... A couple were Christmas shopping on Christmas Eve and the whole place was heaving, packed with other last-minute shoppers. Walking through the shopping centre, the surprised wife looked up from a window display and noticed her husband was nowhere to be seen. She knew they had lots still to do and she became very upset. She rummaged in her handbag and found her mobile phoned and then used it to call her husband to ask him where he was. The husband in a calm voice replied: "Darling, you remember the jewellery shop we went into five years ago, where you fell in love with that diamond ne…

Aloha from Hawaii everyone, Newbie here. I just bought a 1977 yamaha XS 360 and I'm about to embark in a project turning it into a cafe. I am one hell of a tough time finding the HEADER part of the exhaust system. My header pipes are rusted and butt ugly. I've tried eBay, but found pipes are just as bad as mine. I've ran into a lot of exhaust stuff from MAC systems but are all for the XS400. Now here's my question. Does the XS400 exhaust/ header pipes fit on the XS 360? Please HEEELLPP! Any leads to good stock header pipes and mufflers or aftermarket exhaust would greatly be appreciated. Again, the question is: Does the exhaust system (headers and muf…

It realy amazes me the amount of XS400 owners on this forum,,,, ,, Definatly got to be the most popular Workshop / classic/ talked about Yams, Whitch surprizes me ,, coz in the 1975/ 82 erra ,,, i never saw one on the road, [ there was a display bike that stayed in shop window for years] As the roads were awash with small & middle weight 2strokes. Were we all brain washed into the two-stroke style, overlooking the four stroke version of the RD400. or dare i mention the XS250 Lets hear all you Xs owners, reasons for ownership,

My son found a free 1980 XS 850 for haul away, no problem. He called me today and asked what I knew about this model. All I could tell him was that the XS designation was used for the 650s in the day. I Googled it and I liked what I saw: a triple: not too complex, daul overhead cam: preformance possibilities, shaft drive: I'm there, not too stylized: don't care for disco. We both like classic European styled bikes. The machine has been indoors for 4 years and the mileage is unknown. After my online research I reported back that this bike has the potential to be an all-around commuter/tourer. Since it's coming home any way, would anyone experienced with this ma…

Joe wanted to buy a motorbike. He doesn't have much luck until, one day, he comes across an XS400 with a 'for sale' sign on it. The bike seems even better than a new one, although it is 30 years old. It is shiny and in absolute mint condition. He immediately buys it, and asks the seller how he kept it in such great condition for 30 years. "Well, it's quite simple, really," says the seller, "whenever the bike is outside and it's going to rain, rub Vaseline on the chrome. It protects it from the rain." And he hands Joe a jar of Vaseline. That night, his girlfriend, Sandra, invites him over to meet her parents. Naturally, they take the bike there. Just before…
