Last year I replaced all the windows in my house with those expensive double-pane energy-efficient kind. Yesterday, I got a call from the contractor who installed them. Went out today to take daughter no 2 to work, Daughter no 1 is out on my bike just pottering around as she's recently passed her test. Gets home to find my bike's on the drive. Daughter 1 says" Dad i've done something stupid, sorry i've put the disk lock on the wrong way" "Thats ok" I say, "just put the key in through the other side of the wheel", ...You know whats coming dont you....Yes there's lots of holes in the disk and only 3 spokes in the wheel, she chose a hole next to a spoke so you cant get the key in...Doh

Well i took my Falcon down to get a roadworth here yesterday so i can sell it and move on to singpore. Here in queensland you have to have a RWC to sell a car, which is basically like a mot. The fockers failed it on the wiperblades which are almost brandnew, they had grit on them and left a few lines across the screen! The rear squirter, because i hadnt used it for a while so it didnt squirt the instance they pressed it, took about 5 seconds to get water up to the back then it worked but the mechanic obviously couldnt be bothered to wait that long. The gear stick (Auto) wobbled side to side about 5mm! So ive now just finished changing all the bushes. O…

This will make you lot laugh, picked up my bike earlier from Yamaha from its first 600 mile service. So, I set off on my way to realise they've messed about with my clutch, ( I know they've got to tighten it up but if felt horrible!!). Once I got home I had a look at the invoice, they've charged nearly £15 in SUNDRIES, and £5 for 'environmental disposal' - being in the motor trade I know that 'sundries' is not £15 !! Nor getting rid of the old filter and oil is a fiver worth! Never going back, servicing it myself from now on... Rip off!

okay here goes i live on the isle of wight and so far in my four years of riding i have been pushed into hedges,driven off the road, pulled out on and had fat greasy business type blokes sat right up my ass (in his car whilst on my bike ... easy tiger!!)all of these assholes were BMW drivers or Audi drivers occasionally. i hold my cool and vow to find out where they live and have them slotted but inevitabely loose interset and go home really angry. has anyone else had this drama with beamers they are the biggest bunch of wan*ers that ever drove the earth! cun*s

Morning everyone, Has anyone got any good advice on removing the six bolts holding the rear brake disc to the wheel of my XJ900S Diversion? I did have a very good wheel which needed a new disc so my trusty neighbour said he would remove it only to snap a bolt then proceed to drill it then use an "easy out" which cracked my wheel! I now have another wheel with a worn disc which needs removing and i dont want a repeat! Thanks, Alan.

A nice day to take the TS out, I thought. About 3 miles into the ride the rear tube has popped and I am waiting for recovery! Just at the start of the country lanes as well. Felt it pop and the rear went wobbly but no dramas. What a pain.

ok, so i was oiling and tightening my chain today and saw that i have 2 missing teeth on my rear 45 tooth sprocket. the missing teeth are 10 apart. my little dt is my only transportation and i would like to know if its safe to keep going to work until one gets shipped in 3-5 days. i plan on replacing the chain while im at it.
