Went out last monday nite, only to find the gritters had been out before me (Nottingham). I have been saying for some months that as soon as the gritters are out, my bike is coming off the road. So, last monday nites use was the last of the year. It is going to live at a friends in his mega shed, where some little tweaks are going to be made here and there. All being well, it will emerge in Spring with a new coat of paint (had it done in June, but it was a cack job, and already looks more tatty than the paint that was on it from new) and a slight performance BOOST. Got a 2001 ZX9R as a winter runabout. Its a boat! Much more suitable than a highly strung R6 is for cold, …

Hi everyone sorry the site has been down today, someone thought they would be clever and hack my server. All users details, passwords etc are entirely safe and weren't compromised. They hacked my server and replaced a few files which brought the site down but there was no access to any of the databases. Anyway after a lot of work it's all back up and running! Ahmen.

picked up my new zx6r today. My old man gave me a lift to pick it up from swindon, rode it back - runnning in so tried not to rev it hard. Lovely weather, handles sweetly, makes my FZR1000 feel so primative, but then i knew it would. Looks great will post a pick soon!

Hi to everyone, I'm new to the site, just got a 2002 R6, as a 2nd bike, 1st was a Kawasaki er6-f nice but no where near an R6 in any way, (in my newish rider opinion) while I was riding the er6 i wore a caberg justismo gt helmet which was fine but for some reason when i'm on the R6 (maybe coz i'm going 'a bit' faster) the caberg makes a cracking sound where the visor hinges are, any one know why??? Anyway i'm after a good full face helmet now with about £150-£200 ish cash, has anyone got any advice which ones are any good??? been looking at AGV Stealth..what do you think?? Cheers

Hi all, I had never been on a bike before December. Now I've whipped through the direct access scheme and bought my first bike. It was like love at first sight my '07 R6 in blue. We've spent a week together so far and she scares the shit outta me, but I'm reigning her in slowly and building my confidence. anyway... I live in Barrow-in-furness in the lakes are there any meets or good rides that anyone can share with me? At what rev count should I be shifting on standard road riding? (I'm not used to such a large rev range) Do I need to clean my bike EVERYDAY with so much salt on the roads? ( Hope to speak to you all soon. Cheers, Parkey5

My pride and joy has been stolen from East London last night, only 3 weeks old! BLACK AND GOLD, REG: EY09UUH. 500miles on the clock. I doubt it will be found but I thought its worth a try posting the info. I dont know how they hell they took it. Alarm, cover, chain, must have been lifted. Anyone else suffered from this?

hi,yet another problem for an yam yx 600 radian.fuel tap works on vac system from carbs.the tap has no switch off position but constantly drips and fills the carbs up to the point of entering the air box and out the overflow.How is this supposed to work as the diaphram and spring and seal are all intact.

Sorry that I was unable to notify the reason for the site being down for the last day, I had to immediately take down the forums as we had been infilitrated by spammers which were sending out thousands of emails and PM. It was noted at one point 1500 emails per hour were being sent and the quickest way to deal with this was to immidiately take down the forums until the solution had been resolved. hi everyone. found out yesterday that the jawa has an automatic clutch, meaning that when you move the gear lever to change gear, it will disengage the clutch, select the gear and wont engage the clutch again until you move the lever back to centre without even having to touch the clutch lever. is this a common thing on most bikes and how does it work? im quite amazed, lol!

hey i am approaching my 17th birthday and im unsure of what bike i want next, as i am going to take my test i will be restricted to a 33bhp licence for two years. i was wondering weather a restricted 33bhp yamaha R6 would be a better option than a 125 or a 250 for example an 08 kawasaki ninja. i am farmiliar with the method of restricting carb bikes but not fuel injected ones and i understand there is drawbacks in performance with one of these types. any help, further information or advise would be much apreciated..... cheers
