Just to say I have sold the FJ, met a nice guy while I was down at the FJ owners club who said he was interested and lo and behold turned up today and bought it. I shall really miss my old tank , got my asking price and so looking for something else now. A 125 or 250 2T would do nicely just for a bit of a project so if you hear of anything that might suit give me a shout, don't mind even if it's a basket case as I have plenty of time to fettle with oily bit's.

Had plans made all last week to tend to some overdue chores around home......but like usual.....the Ol' Lady changed everything @ the last moment.....& was NOT happy with me when I told her I was staying home from a trip to the beach that she expected every1 to comply to. Finally got the nagging brake issue with my YamaHauler sorted:spoton:......now I can start planning a retrieval trip to collect a 370 Bultaco Frontera for restoration. After pulling a bit of maintenance on the XT.....just couldn't resist taking advantage of the killer weather we've been bestowed with lately..... Nice views of 'Hood along the Clackamas...... on the way t…

Hi guys I know it is rude to ask for help as I am a new newbie but I am a wee bit stuck. I decided today that I would change the plugs oil filters etc on my recently purchased fzr600 foxeye. I also drained the carbs and put fresh fuel in as the bike has stood for a long time and although running it was very hard to start etc. Anyway I have moved the radiator out the way to get to the plugs but none of the plug keys I have are small enough to get onto the nut have you any idea of the size? Just from looking at it I would guess a 13-14mm socket would this be right? Cheers

Well peeps, we had a bit of a scene at Cosford today. walking down to work in a group of about 7-8 people this morning, some kitchen-porter (renowned tosser on camp) on a YBR125 comes though the gate about 30mph (15mph speed limit), cuts the corner at the junction doing the same speed before hitting a bit of gravel and skidding off out of site around the side of the hangar, about 10 seconds later we hear him shouting at the top of his lungs and thinking the rider was in pain we went around to help out, only to find the bike laying on its side with the guy storming around ripping his kit off and kicking his helmet across the road, then picking the bike up and cranking …

A cowboy lay sprawled across three seats in a posh Tyler Theater. When the usher came by and noticed this, he whispered to the cowboy. "Sorry sir, but you are only allowed one seat." The cowboy groaned but didn't budge. The usher became more impatient. "Sir, if you don't get up from there, I'm going to have to call the manager." The cowboy just groaned. The usher marched briskly back up the aisle, and in a moment, he returned with the manager. Together the two of them tried to move the cowboy, but without success. Finally they summon the police. On arrival, the policeman surveyed the situation briefly and then asked, "A…

  14. Hello folks, Having only done about 200 miles since I got my YBR (I'm not counting however many miles I did way back when I had my first bike in '93), I was wondering if some of you could help me with some noob questions? 1) When I come up to a red light (for instance) I go... See red light, clutch in, down down down down to first gear, coast to a stop at the light still in first with the clutch in, ready to go again. Is that bad for my engine? It's what I used to do before, but neither of my CBT instructors ever actually told me what I should be doing. Should I be changing gear down one at a time with throttle in between? Because the bike doesn't seem to like t…
