Just wondering what you guys wear whilst riding in the Hot Weather? I wear jeans, boots, gloves, helmet and a textile jacket to commute to work and it's bloody hot man!! I see some riders wearing only shorts and t-shirt....is that you?

Hi all, just a few words of warning to anyone to anyone planning to ride/tour in the South of Ireland. earlier this year we were in Donegal, great weather, good dry conditions ,very low traffic volumes on the road, ideal motorcycling roads,with one drawback, On our way back to Greencastle to catch the ferry back to the North,the lead bike in our group lost control on a gentle downhill right hander. This was entirely due to the road surface, which was covered in what looked like quarry dust, loose stones,(that had been spilled from lorries using the road from a nearby construction site) there was no warning of any kind of this danger on an otherwise good road. to cut …

So, Again, another noob question. I know some people don't ride in the winter months, but due to commuting, I will have to. So, what advise do you guys give to a newbie in the rain. Are there particular things that are deceivingly slippy on the road etc etc. Also, what about maintenance, is there anything i should be making sure i do on a regular basis to help the bike though the winter?

Hi all Been riding for a little while so am still getting used to my bike, however today I was riding in very high winds and was being blown all over the place!! Im not the heaviest person in the world! There is obviously some very experienced riders on this forum and was wondering how best to cope with the wind? Speed up? Slow down? Lean into the wind? Well, after way too much time being sorted......I finally got my little lad's PeeDub running properly ...... & he hasn't wasted any time making up for lost ground with his riding skills. But after having a little run-in with Mr. AppleTree in our backyard ......he's definitely vowed to always wear long pants when riding......even if it's Hot outside. Looking forward to going over to Central Oregon to visit my brother & do some off-roading next month......especially when the terrain looks like this from his front door ...........

Can I remove rimlocks for innertube on a DT175mx rim as its a counterweight effect and really bounces. I only ride on road. Will the grommet hold the tube in?
