Had a fantastic ride out today, apart from a few minor discrepancies... Start of the ride some dick slams his anchors on to avoid a Feasent.... Bang my mate clips his flank ripping his R6 in half! (He's ok) So we wait about an hour he goes home, we set off again! Unreal ride... Just going round a big long roundabout into the town i live, like iv done a hundred times! then oh no don't look now the dreaded patch of oil! Dropped the bike about 40mph, slid watching as the bike spun into the curb... Nice!

Right, I'm ready for the insanity to begin!! I have decided to keep the 2 rear side panels, rear one obviously as that's brand new!! and the front mudguard. I have been putting off the paint stripping for the past few weeks as I had no idea what would be good enough for it!! I am unsure of the paint effect I'm going for right now, I want to stick with a similar scheme but with I'm not certain... Metallic Blue flip with white accent? Marble midnight blue with white accent? I'm starting to think Blue to be honest but w/e... Fortunately I found out that there is pretty much the best paint stripper (£2-£3) in the world available at most super markets!! Fairy Power …

I have been working on a 1975 350-RD for a few months or so, and I am looking for the PROPER manual to help with my restoration. I've been farming Ebay and have picked up something that helps with a lot of the questions. But it just seems to be lacking in information.(Haynes service repair maintenance hand book) I shows the basic info....diagrams/ black and white photo's...but the items it doesn't show, battery box/air box....tool box, are pretty important. I've looked on line, but you can't flip through the pages of an online book, so your not sure of what you are getting...and all of my brick and mortar stores don't have a selection of cycle books..... Any idea'…

With it being mostly dry today, and the sun out a bit, I went cross county on my XVS, she got 70mph! I'm still waiting for the bigger front sprocket to come so she should be able to cater a lovely cruising speed now! She's thirsty mind you, set off with more or less a full tank..... after 35 miles, shes below half..... I like a girl that swallows it anyhoo... Anyone else go out today (wed)? Yorkshire area?

Any of you lot live near here. I'm thinking of bidding on a set or rear shocks but the guy will only do pick up. If successful any chance someone could pick them up and post them off to me (obviously with remuneration) Cheers

Hi all, Enjoying a ride up in the cotswolds recently a thought came to mind, PUNCTURE ! what if I get a puncture in the middle of nowhere, I've got breakdown and recovery etc but I am wondering what you lads or lasses would suggest as a " get you home / garage " type solution. From when I used to ride many years ago I seem to recall a can of foam type stuff ?? I could be dreaming tho. I would appreciate any advice or suggestions from you time served people. Many thanks, Inpar.

Hello, I am having some bad luck at the moment! So far this year I have had two new rears tyres due to nails/screws going into them. My last one was 2 weeks ago. I have done bout 1000 miles on it and after a ride on saturday I got home and was cleaning my bike. And guess what I have a screw again in my tyre. Can anyone suggest is it worth getting a new tyre or getting it repaird? Fortunetly I have a company car as of last week so I do no need it for work anymore.
