Okay peeps, I checked some of this out last night (See other post regarding fuel tax protest, for those not in the know), it seems to have started, the balls rolling. Ive put a link to the main website. Its a National one and hopefully will attract many. Link here!!! It dosnt have to be a noisy thing (but with bikes thats usuall ), just a mass gathering that the authorities have no control over, because theres no apparent leader...Its down to the individuals to make it work. Good luck people, I should be there at Birch Services. Spread the word, even if you dont attend, tell others. P

I know it sounds like a dull title but I spend all my time on motorways and such. So once I had fully cleaned all the oily gunk from my oil leak incident, and fixed the scottoiler as a bonus I popped out for a 'quick spin'. Riding down the same roads I saw a 'not suitable for HGV' sign. That's for me says I, well the next 40 miles passed as single track, lanes in 500year old villages and simple roads to nowhere, couple were even 2 separate strips of tarmac. Just turning down roads that were signed as narrow or restricted in some way. Ended on a farm at one point. Hardly saw another vehicle and spent most of the time at 20 or 30mph. Really made a change, everythin…

Hi, Has any one checked out this guy yet? His round the world attempt on his R1 looks pretty intense. Just started riding and although not good enough to tackle something like this would love a stab at something on a smaller scale so if anyone has any suggestion feel free to share the knowledge. http://parallelworld.hein-gericke.com

My R6, which I've owned less than 2 months, was nicked last night. Thankfully it was recovered, hidden behind a lockup with branches over it to camouflage it. These ned wammees need a good shoeing. They've bent a handlebar, damaged the steering lock (bike won't go lock to lock now - any ideas?) and ripped out wiring trying to hotwire it. They made it less than a kilometre and didn't even get the engine going but they've cost me over £100 in recovery fees and now I've got to get it repaired. Nyaaargh! Ah, I feel better now. Cheers!

A big problem for those whose bikes have no center stand is getting the front or back wheel off the ground. I found this solution for about £36 quid.

Hey guys, does anyone know if car insurance companies will except no claims earned on a motorcycle? I've heard that some place will allow it but can't remeber the source. It only seems fair as you are more likely to have an accident on a bike. Cheers Robbie

Hi People Work this out recently got back on to 2 wheels and looked at insuring said bike, quotes unusually cheap ? had a virago 535 for 11 years with never a claim and i was quoted £71.00 full comp so filled in forms and paid premium in full with Bennetts. after which the insurance informed me that my NCB was out of date and that I had to start again with zero NCB. OK i accept that they informed me that the new premium would be £78.00 !!! so this means my initial 11 years NCB was worth a poultry 7 quid. But they charged me 30 quid to change the policy. Is it me or is this madness?
