A few months ago my mate decided he fancied a big ride for the year of his 60 birthday so I said I would go with him - if we stayed in B&B's. We are just back from an 8 day 2200 mile trip round the uk, doing all the usual biking things. Up to John o Groats, down to Land's End - a truly dreadful place. We rode from middle England via A68 to Peebles then north to Thurso. Single track roads down mid Scotland, Loch Ness to Fort William, Lake District and Wales (just a bit), then 'Atlantic Highway' (who thought that name up) to south. From Penzance along south coast to Hove and then back to Norfolk. I thought my buttocks may have got used to it by the end,…

tonight while i was at work, some asshat hit my bike with their car. they didn't bother to leave a name, number, etc. damage: broken clutch lever shredded left hand grip broken mirror damaged lights/blinkers switch both left side blinkers are cracked cosmetic damage all along the left side and the worst;:::: the gear shifter is jammed in under the engine cover, so i cant even take it out of gear to get it loaded up. luckily our parking lot is covered by a closed circuit camera. hopefully the tapes haven't been taped over yet, and it was panning to the right spot in the lot when this happened. i just don't understand the mentality where people have so …

  8. I've grown well accustomed to seeing Red Light Jumping [RLJ] cyclists while on the road. Those total and utter turd monkeys, who think the laws don't apply to them and are a statistic waiting to happen. This morning, there was an interesting outcome from one. As he flew past a red light perpendicular to a motorway on-ramp [where cars would very likely be accelerating up to 70mph...], he caused the car on one side of him, and the lorry [that was blocking his view of traffic that would be joining the motorway] to think the red light had changed, and they jumped the light too. It's only sheer luck that there was no carnage involved. For those that may know the area …

Firsty, Hi all; Jak from Hertfordshire, UK - currently on L-plates, hopefully tearing 'em up in May. Now, a few questions pertaining to minor modifications to my 2009 YBR 125. I've put Metzeler tyres on it, but I need to up the power of the dipped beam headlight bulb to something that actually lets me see further than 3 feet on unlit country roads. Anyone recommend any good bulbs/good wattages to look out for? thirdly, I want to change out the handgrips and put on Bar-ends, but I've no idea what size grip or what kind of Bar-end will fit, everywhere I look has different information; and I can't find it anywhere in the manual. Any suggestions on what to look out for …

taysiders in space NWS best washing machine commercial ever by danes NWS (nudity) The Roman galley was approaching its home port after a successful deployment. The captain could see the crowds on the jetty waiting to welcome the ship home and he decided to show off a little and ordered maximum speed. The beat of the timing drum gradually increased tempo and the oars picked up speed. Suddenly there was the sound of oars striking each other and the ship slewed to starboard and came to a stop. The slave master went through the rowing decks until he came to a slave slumped dead over his oar. Two deck hands came below, unchained the dead slave, carried the body u…
