I'm waiting for a shed to be delivered so that my pride and joy has somewhere dry to live. At 5am today I was woken up by a noise outside. My beloved Exup was lying on its side on the lawn - a victim of these 80mph winds! The wind had got under the cover and caused the bike to fall to the right. I can't see any damage but shall have a look when it gets light

OK, am I mad??? I have today, just bought a new 08 R6 as my first proper bike. I used to ride a 50cc but that was some 8 years ago on a CBT. I am doing my direct access and decided to go for a new R6. What are your opinions? I will obviously be taking it very very easy to start with! and I do mean EASY )

Hi all The other day I got caught on my R6 doing 93mph in a 60, had the letter through that said it cannot be resolved with a fixed penalty ie. A court summons, anybody any idea what I'll get? Also only had my license about a year but a car license for about 6 years, does the 6 points in 2 years thing count. Any help would be great Also for the people that say I deserve what I get, I know I do!! Thanks

Hi all. First post. Thanks in advance for any advice given. 2 weeks ago I purchased a lovely 2005 yamaha xvs650 from a dealer. It has 3,500 mileson it and apparentley 1 owner from new. I just got the dvla registration document through the post today and it says the bike has had 4 previous owners. Could this be a dvla mistake? Or did the dealer mis-sell the bike? Eitherway that affects the value or my bike? 4 owners is a lot more than 1, and kinda worrying since it has such low milage aswell. Only ridden it up n down road few rimes, seems all fine, got it booked in for m.o.t etc tomorow. Not sure what to do really. Or what I'm asking for. Guess I'm just worrie…

Just want to know what model this is? I saw it last week and took this pic. The engine was Yamaha, :s. Thanks

  10. Merv asked for some piccies once they were finished. Paul sends photo's of them so you can see em before he sends them to you. In the pics they look spot on, the gold looks to be just right too. Not anodised, both the hubs and rims have been powder coated as obviously neither the rims or hubs are new enough for anodising without extensive (expensive) work. More so with the rims as the front has a repair (you have to know where to look to see it though) and it means i still have ALL the original bits on the bike. Anyway, all in for under 250quid, rims and hubs were strpped then powder coated, new stainless spokes made specifically for each application. Non…

Names Mark new to this forum, so firstly i would like to say hello to you all I own a 2004 TZR50 about 50 on the flat depending on the wind direction, fastest is 64 down hill still takes forever to pick up off lights and often bogs down. ive turned up the air mixture screw abit which helps reduce bog but still isnt very responsive. i dont want to change sprockets as this would lose my top end slightly. i was wondering if anyone knew of any cheap ways to make me go faster. I was thinking new reeds and air filter changes... thanks for reading (Y)

Heya peeps, i may be opening up a whole can of worms here, but is there actually any benefit to using premium fuel over the regular stuff besides maybe a few more BHP?, i used to run the DT and XJ on the cheapest stuff i could find, mainly because they were old bike and i wasnt bothered about doing very silly speeds, but since buying this fireblade its got me wondering, a friend of mine has an SV650 and all he uses is premium fuel, apparently its giving him a smoother ride and better MPG, wether it actually saves him enough money to make it worth while i dont know shame i cant run it on LPG, its now more expensive for me to ride than it is to drive

  16. I don't usually get the opportunity to filter this way but when I did, it pissed off some woman which caused her to carry out a punishment undertake on to a bus lane in operation. I left a big enough gap between me and her so I'm not really sure what the issue was. Maybe she just disliked the fact that I came in from the opposite lane - which I could tell by her hand actions seen on my mirror. I know the risks involved so I should be moving slower to react. Also looking out for junctions on either side of the road and moving back in time before you get to them. Keeping an eye out for drivers thinking of doing an impatient U-turn, pedestrians crossing the road between …

Hey everyone, so its been years in the coming but me and a few friends have finally planned a trip across the pond to France. Going to be getting the Ferry across from Plymouth to Roscoff, and then spending 3 days riding down the west coast to Biarrtz, then back up to Roscoff. Anyhow this is where we are looking for some help, we have only planned as much as we are starting at Roscoff and Ending in Biarrtz. Has anyone ridden in this area before and have any must see / must ride places we should aim for? If we have time we would like to ride into the Pyrenees too.
