As I feel the weight of impending fatherhood (any day now) and I have sold some of my toys, reducing my bikes down to 5 at the moment (and 1 kit car), I feel the need for a futile and rash purchase, maybe a v-max. Maybe I could street fighter it, then add a turbo? R1 USDs on the front? Oh god, I'm drooling into the keyboard.

i have been absent for a while from this forum, but in the mean time, i have been restoring a Vintage SR125 (1982), which has also ben my sole means of transport. last night, some pollock reversed in to it causing a not cheap amount of damage. bearing in mind that i have spent in excess of £900 getting it up to an almost compleate stage (just neding a fuel tank re-spray, an exhaust and a left hand side panel) this guy reverses in to it and causes this damage: A smashed head lamp fixing, bent brackets, snapped mud guard, break lever snapped off, break pedal bent in to engine casing, forks bent, bearing set/ yolk bit that connects to the frame is damaged.in all, i requi…

With temperatures around 15c and not a cloud in the sky....I decided to go and explore the Sierra De Castril natural park in the province of Granada, Spain! It starts about 30 miles from where I live, and once you get into the natural park itself, it's all dirt tracks and gravel around the network of lakes. I would estimate you could go for about 40 miles into it....and not see a soul. The views in the mountains are amazing! Then as I got further into the park I could see the lakes... Nice backdrop for the XT.... These seem to go for miles, breaking off into small rivers and streams... After about …

i bought an xj600 diversion and after reading the reviews i found it to be a fairly fast comfortable user friendly bike so why do people slag them off so much i know it doesnt perform like an r1 type of bike but its good for someone on a budget like me and apart from slightly lacking the gut wrenching accelaration like some others i find it hard to pick any faults with it so whats the beef why do people seem to hate them ?? do you!!

Hi all, Does anyone have a recommendation/comments when it comes to getting those extra or ultra bright light bulbs? I am looking at replacing the R1 bulbs with some Piaa bulbs, I know they are not cheap but if I get twice the dazzle it might make people see me , I have not seen any other bulbs that offer twice the light output for the same current. Thanks

As I have suffered from condensation on my bike while stored in a wooden shed with a concrete floor (ventilated to a small extent) I am considering lining the interior with plywood, does anyone have any ideas etc as to whether it would be worthwhile insulating the walls as well please?

I'm new to the site and would just like to say a quick hi to everyone one. So glad I stummbled across this site, it seems so full of help and info. My names Gareth, I'm from Leicestershire and I have a 2001 R6. If anyone is intrested in meeting up locally for a ride out with myself and a couple of my mates (R1's) don't hesitate to contact me. We're not pro's, just a decent small group who enjoy riding out.

Hello everyone, I've just purchased a mint 04 plate r6, it has 3300 miles, braided brake hoses, polished sprocket, full set of bungs, and is absolutly spotless. This is my first bike, I used to own a twin turbo supra and was a member of www.MKIVsupra.net, I had to sell the car recently though due to the wife being preggers, and the car was costing far too much. I'm also moving out to a bigger house and the supra just sapped to much money from me every month. I decided that I still wanted something that would make me smile everytime I went to work, so I've booked a direct access course next week and bought this little beauty. She's sitting in my garage now wait…
