As I say every year, Scott's a great guy and a real biker....though his personal grooming does leave a lot to be desired! And how much longer can the bloody Line Dancing Hillbilly get away with claiming to be younger than me? And how much longer can he deny using hair colourant? He might fool the rest of the Trailer Park....but he's not fooling me! So let's hear it for Scott.....and as a Birthday treat, here's his all time favourite! "But don't tell my heart, my achy breaky heart I just don't think it'd understand And if you tell my heart, my achy breaky heart He might blow up and kill this man Ooo"

  2. Hi again guys as some of you know I passed my cbt 3 weeks ago and bought myself a 1993 yamaha sr 125 and I tend to have big problems pulling out of junctions esspecialy turning right as im consetrating on life savers and giving gas and letting the clutch go slowly while pressing the rear brake to control the speed to cross over the road like i was taught on my cbt... But my problem is I either give it too much power or more often not enough and look like a child thats had it stableisers taken off for the first time lol...... Can anyone give me any hints on how to be smother...also where i live most junctions are on hills. Also my bike has drum brakes front and re…

what a shame it wasted my time to become a member of this forum, its the first one i´ve fully joined and i WAS very excited about my new yamaha and becoming part of a club, thanks for nothing though, could not 1 single person take the time to help out another biker here and give me a few simple bits to look out for when buying my next bike??? i remember when bikers stuck together and helped each other, what a shame this does not seem to be the case in this "forum" / "kiddies chat room"

Hi Guys/Gals, I am new to the world of bikes after spending many years and money on sports/performance cars! I have recently passed my Mod 1 bike test and have got my mod 2 in the next week. I have already been biten by the biking bug! I'm just after a bit of advice on my first bike purchase. Im 29 yrs old and have been looking at some nice 07 plate r6's. I know that these are high performance bikes but have had mixed advice from my mates who own bikes. Some have said get a fazer/hornet to start with whilst others have said go for the r6 because I will only end up changing bikes after a short period of time because I will end up bored of a fazer/hornet and potentiall…

  7. Hi peeps. Ive come to a realisation, ive been here for 3 years atleast and still have not travelled a great distance for recreation on a bike, i used to post about going to ireland for a week when i was riding the DT but in reality i doubt the old donkey would have got me there and back on one set of piston rings. i now have a fireblade, am out of the country until march and will be moving to wolverhampton in april, during which i have 4 weeks off work. so, where is the best place to go?, may be like asking a blind man to tell you what the colour blue looks like but even so i want to get away for a week or so, i will need to take kit appropriate to the climate…

Hi guys. I've noticed my bike doesn't have a carb because it's a fuel injection engine. Can someone explain the pros and cons (is this why I can't find a choke?) btw the bike is going really well. I'm finding surprises on it everyday. I'm really impressed with all the quality parts for example the Brembo brakes are amazing, they are nearly too good.

I've been away for a week and have come back to people just posting random workshop questions in the Bar and New Members Sections. Given that I keep getting ribbed for being a bit strict on just removing them, I can't be ar5ed to clean them up anymore so my new plan is just to add people who do it to my ignore list forever.

I get what the rectifier does (AC-DC) but does ALL the DC power go the the battery FIRST or does it have two DC outputs with one going to the battery and one for the lights? Basically I have all lights working when running but no charge at the battery, so was thinking either a connection fault or the rectifier has failed, ? I've not looked at the rectifier so not sure how many pins are on it yet.

hello all went to my local dealer yesterday to book my xvs950 midnight star in for it's first 600 mile service expecting to pay £60-£70 for the service and get the book stamped to keep the two year warranty going, i nearly had a fit when the service guy came out with £350 as i hadn't bought the bike from them.

Alright everyone, just at a bit confusion with the uk license categories, A1, A2 etc. And what they allow you to ride, I’m currently on a CBT and will be doin my A1 next year (I’m 17) so my understanding is that I’ll be able to go up to a 400 when I’m 19 once I’ve passed my A1, not sure though as I’ve not really had a clear description, so was wondering if someone could please clarify cheers everyone
