DT125R Gradual Loss of power, Why?
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PETROL-ENGINE-AUTOMOTIVE-COMPRESSION-VALVE-TESTER-TOOLS-/390234169309?pt=UK_Diagnostic_Tools_Equipment&hash=item5adbc4dfdd god thats cheap, cant tell you if its any good...there's a saying 'you get what you pay for' i'm sure youv'e heard it. However i'm sure you are quite capable of finding one. Trouble with the DTR is it's a right b4strd to do due to a severe lack of room and if I remember right quite a few things have to be removed first. also they say it is best done when engine is hot. a good engine will show over 100psi...mediocre...say 90 psi

DT125R Gradual Loss of power, Why?
12000 would be overdue a piston ring change, I would be doing it at 10k max, can you do a compression test?
-
fried piston twice
New or not I would ask for it to be checked, who's to say it was assembled correctly? I'm just pointing out that this can cause major overheating problems.

Yamaha Aerox Doesnt Start
Hi Denz, have you got a multimeter? Check all the fuses and dont ask me where they are, I have no idea, also check the battery is giving 12 volts, re-charge it anyhow as is no doubt flat.

ignition faults
so you say it sparks 1 & 4 with plugs grounded. I think sparking when under compression is more difficult so to test this can you put a strobe lamp or a spark tester in line on 1 & 4 How about a possible pick up coil problem...got a spare?

replacing little end bearing
Use some long nosed pliers, grab a hold of the bent part of the clip, place the non-bent part into the groove in the piston and pull back the pliers until the clip will enter the groove properly, harder to explain than it is to so I think. Also best to do one side before fitting the piston. And it is important to place rags in the crankcase mouth until it is fitted properly just in case you drop one of the clips.

Air injection system XV535 (92)
Maybe someone with XV535 experience will enlighten us Kaz but until then. What is an air injection system...sounds a bit 007 to me Bikes usually inhale air in not inject it...you should have a word!
