Got her stripped, [great these rainy days] Now "its on a Wiseco 2.00mm overbored. Small end was goosed, Now" its a 1M1- 1977. Model, engine is 2N6 = 1979 F model [ cdi] but its got points,,, . so either the casings have been shifted or the 2N6 engine had no ignition , and the"ve fitted the 1M1 points,,, ,, any way she starts good, had run down drive , and all gears good, So , shes stripped for a minor resto,

Well its a Yam for me at squires this year,,, it will be an all blue afair with Pauls DT175 -Foamys DT50. Do some measuring. ie- mount holes/ width/ sprocket chain line up... angle of exhaust out of head.

Also jetting up a two stroke for no good reason will just bog under W.O.T. . The race guys in the 1980/90s tried to run as lean as possible - without seizure , thats where max power is, kinda like " when you run out of fuel with the chainsaw, the revs peak [ lean - no fuel and virtually all air.] thats the high revs the 2 stroke racers are aiming for, without the seize..

I think when the 30/40 Year old now , in 10 years will re-buy what they had as first bikes, . The YZF R1 1998 red/white will be the next brough superior , .but the market will not be fueled by as many old bikers, As we " were all on motorcycles when left school. most of my mates had a bike , till they passed the car test,,, Cant see the volume of buyers, once were gone,,, -

Well thats a strange one. As in a stroker its only gearbox thrashing it around , should settle quickly. not like a fourstroke and pumped round engine, [ top end etc] thats why 4strokes take a while to settle level,
