DT175 running on choke only
Presumtion" the mother of al f*kups, that pilot must be blocked,,,Its the pilot that takes the throttle first,, as venturi speed rushes thru - then fuel is drawn thru main jet bye the needle, only when wide open [ throttle] does the size of the main jet become important,,,

DT175 Flooding
She run when choke on " if you take off choke and it dies, the pilot jet is blocked, remove it , And clean . till you see thru it,, side holes too. You say " properly" do you mean it runs but not good enuff without the choke ? if so its lean . Thats why richening the mixture [ choke] makes it run better,,

DT125r Deristrictions and Mods
If you jam open the P.V. ther will be no bottom end power , you"l have to slip the clutch at lights, . P.v were invented for road biast 2 strokes, As old race 2 stroke engines have large exhaust ports,, power is all top end, The YZ125 motoX er is a fine example . As for jetting ,,,,thats suck it and see = plug chops,,,

dragstar 650 1999
Thats a shure way of blueing selector forks,,,,as you apply pressure, the drum will start to turn = selector fork rubbing on gear, Try shifting up without clutch,,, as there is no syncromesh. in bike gearboxes, Once selector forks are blued [ burnt] they will wear to the point they"re thin , resulting in sloppy changes , and jumping out of gear,, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vq11CusULlk

Can't kickstart my XS360, no piston movement
Gas in oil. sounds like the petcock is leaking = filling carbs and running into cylinders. watch for hydrollic lock, this would jam kickstart, and bend conrods, .take out sparkplugs . and turn engine ,
