I think you"l find a break in the Brown wire between the flasher/ horn and stop/tail. the brown connects all 3 .
Am amazed you got the 2 pin flasher to work. i needed a 3 pin,,,as 2 pins dont work on mine,,,,

Its tricky to set up a 2 stroke when its been modified, go up on the main jet a couple of sizes, , and run it in propper, check the plug colour after a short blast, but dont go wide open[ for long] till you see plug colours,
