Hi Guys, I've been trying to get some bike insurance quotes all day and was wondering how should be paying? I tried Norwich Union at for for a quote on a 2003 Yamaha R6 and it came out with £3000 TPF&T!!!! WTF!!!! :shock: I came across Insurance2000, which I found on the back of Ride Magazine and gave it a go with the following bikes (All are TPF&F quotes): 2003-2004 Yamaha R6 = £761.00 per annual 2004 Honda CBR600RR = £761.00 per annual 2004 Suzuki GSXR600 = £680.00 per annual 2004 Honda CBR125R = £450.00 per annual What do you think? Are these good prices??

Who going to NEC this year for the Motorcycle Show 2004? Me and the Mrs have already bought the tickets......can't wait to go and sit on all the different bikes and get a feel before I decide which one to get for next year!

LOL Mozzy, I agree with you mate.........there's no competition agains the R6 but as a noob who hasn't even got his license yet, I need to weigh up my options. The R6 is a deffo for me, it's just a matter of now or later.

I don't really like Fazers, I'd rather ride the FZ6. But then I'd rather ride a sports bike!

I think the Rocket III is on the front cover of T.W.O magazine this month. Has the bike got a twin round light at the front? :?

I've been reading about the GS500f, most people say it's a decent bike for what you pay but as Alan said, the handling is rubbish and they can rust easily!! Think I might just stick to the R6.......I'll probably be safer around corners on an R6 than I would on a crap handling Suzi GS500f! Also, the R6 is lighter and probably easier to handle.

I think the R6 is still edging forward for me! Brand new Suzuki GS500f = £3750 Brand new Yamaha R6 = £5995 Extra £2000 can get me the R6.......Might as well go all out for the R6!

I'm still deciding whether to go for the R6, take it easy and do bike safe course or just start on one of these Suzi GS500f? :?

Hi guys, I know there's no excuse for Suzuki ownership............but have you seen the Suzuki GS500f! It's pretty nice looking and it's the only sports bike looking commuter around in the market! :? Don't you think it would be a decent bike to have as a first? Bearing in mind that I only like sporty looking bikes.

It's a blue R6! :? And it don't look like an ex race bike. Also, if it was crash damage, I would have thought you would get more money for selling bike after it's fix rather than totally stripping it down. :?

I think some people don't like bikers full stop (Don't know why?), but cars theses days have just as loud exhaust systems and they're not complaining as much about them! Why?? Also, loud cans doesn't mean you are going fast.........you get theses shitty Nova and Civic boyz with big exhausts who are rumbling down the road, but because their cars are only like a 1.2 or 1.4, it's loud even reving the car up to 30mph!!!
