Do I get my "where's Wally" badge?
  2. Hi Sacha, what it means is that if you can imagine a drive chain going anti-clockwise the closed end of the link should always be facing forward in the direction of travel. I can only presume that if the open end of the link was facing in direction of travel would the "G force" or whatever try to prise open the link?
  3. I cleaned mine with Double Diamond because that works wonders. Only the old gits will understand this unless you live in Bourton on Trent
  4. Hi Marc? Welcome to the forum. 3 out of 10 for your intro.
  5. I don't think the actual word "bicycle" is spelt out in the box, but there is a very good diagram of a pushbike there so I doubt if a motorbike would get away with it.
  6. Well done Kev, a man after my own heart.
  7. Hi Lizzy, just one thing though. When you replace an oil filter you always need to smear the new seal (o"ring) with oil before you screw the new filter on. When screwing the new filter on only screw just above hand tight, i.e. screw it in as far as you can by hand then with a ratchet (or equivalent) tighten by about 1/8 turn.
  8. I was thinking more of an inter.
  9. Yes Kev, and we all know what sort of course you've been on with your wife don't we.
  10. Hi Kaizac, first of all welcome to the forum and thanks for a great intro. I've been riding the older type diversion(2000) for the last eight years and the only reason I've still got it is that it is so comfortable to ride on long distances either solo or two up. As for going to work every day I can't fault it. But, and I mean BUT. After about half an hour I do get pins and needles, to which all I need to do is to take my right hand off the throttle and shake it about a bit for a few seconds. (It always seems to be my right hand?) Anyway there a good old work horse and the engine is bullet proof.
  11. So that leads me to think that if you live in certain areas (post codes) your insurance will be very high, or as I said the insurers don't want to insure you so they quote a ridiculously stupid high price. If Salford Quays is high, what would Moss side be like then?
  12. Obviously they didn't want to insure him or the place he lives in is maybe a high risk crime area.
  13. If you meld You Tube, Twitter, and Facebook, would you get You Twit Face?
  14. I was thinking at the time wouldn't the obvious thing to do is to scoop him out.
  15. I have got my bikes MOT on Monday so I suppose tomorrow I will have to clean it myself. Only because the wife's too idle to do it !!
  16. Cheers DT, that settles a long running queerie, my spares dept reckons my bike is 1999, the logbook says 2000 and the 10th digit confirms 2000.
  17. Hi Wally, or should that be Where's Wally? Anyway, I would love one as well, but can't seem to open your options.
  18. Actually Jimmy, You'd be surprised where you can get o.rings from.
  19. That's something I've learned today
  20. Can you give me the exact dimensions of the 'O' ring Jimmy, we keep quite a varied selection in our toolroom at work.
  21. Take away lad and you get reme, the only thing I can think of then is Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. Which if any non British members are wondering is part of the British Army.
  22. Fowlers (Bristol) is all I know Jimmy, they have never let me down yet, and their mail order service is second to none.
  23. Per chance were you in the Army?
