if the bushes are worn, it creates movement and forces the seal into positions it wasn't designed to do. could happen to any bike, if you have a main stand, put it on that and try to rock the lower forks fore and aft to detect any movement

if someone is driving towards you, you first assume that they see you and will make the necessary actions to move/stop. then there is a point where the motorcyclist realises that he can't/didn't see you, hence the reaction to shout and move out of the way. the speed of the lorry was the issue as I think he took it wide because of the lady pedestrian on that corner.

Do honda use the same engine number as well as frame number like Yamaha? that way you could claim that the frame number is also the engine number and ask for a dating cert based on that!

same here tommy, although I'm still building the bike, just awaiting the rear shock so I can get to it and build it back up. couple of days worth and hopefully she'll fire up!

Just watched X machines and this was on the Martin Mars "Firestorm" water bomber

picked up the paint from Andys bikes in Ilkeston then I've fitted the front fairing, which is all I can do till the rear shock gets done looking good, just a bit wary of damaging the paint (which is going to happen, lets face it)
