The Dude Posted June 5, 2007 Share Posted June 5, 2007 Alreet folks. I've heard a few reports lately sayin that there's a restrictor plate of some kind in the 06/07 R6. Robbie Posted June 5, 2007 Share Posted June 5, 2007 It is true it is just a plate on the bottom of the air filter. If you take it out of the air box all you have to do is pop off the rivets and the plate will come apart. Apparently its a non reversible mod though. If you can see what looks like an oval on the bottom of the air filter it is on still. Basically the filter should look the same shape and size both top and bottom.
