yamaha R1 Posted March 8, 2007 Share Posted March 8, 2007 Can anyone suggest a remedy for my R1 steering noise. When I am driving over rough ground or braking hard I keep getting a loud click and short sharp vibration from the front end of my bike. I dont know if its coming from the steering bearings, the forks, or the floating brake disks, the click and the sudden vibration can be felt right up through the handle bars. The bike has done 8,000 miles, never pulled any wheelies, please, any ideas what it might be. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

chrisw Posted March 15, 2007 Share Posted March 15, 2007 The click could be the pads moving in the caliper. My mates Gixer is a sod for it.
