Hi all,

I have just recently bought a xj6n I'm new to biking and wanted to get some information on when or how long I need to lube my chain? If you can explain I will appreciate it,

Hi,

Does your XJ6 have a center stand, or do you have a rear paddock stand?

Either one of above will make it easier as you can turn wheel by hand and spray chain.

Or, you can start engine, put it in 1st gear and spray chain as the wheel turns.

I like the non sticky lubes such as Yamalubes Platinum chain spray.

Spray the chain after washing and when you've been riding in the rain.

Someone else might advise you on after how long or after how many miles.

right ok, no centre stand but i have paddock stand which sounds easiest :spin2:

as my chain as just a slight rust mark on, so this needs attention now...
