paulrever Posted July 14, 2012 Share Posted July 14, 2012 Hi, Does your XJ6 have a center stand, or do you have a rear paddock stand? Either one of above will make it easier as you can turn wheel by hand and spray chain. Or, you can start engine, put it in 1st gear and spray chain as the wheel turns. I like the non sticky lubes such as Yamalubes Platinum chain spray. http://www.yamaha-motor.eu/uk/accessories/service/yamalube/yamalube_cleaning.aspx Spray the chain after washing and when you've been riding in the rain.
