awa355 Posted August 28, 2011 Share Posted August 28, 2011 The original exhaust has the lower muffler fixed to the rear header pipe via a balance pipe. Is there a particular reason for the existence of the balance pipe? I had wondered if this was essential to maintain the correct back pressure of the exhaust gases?
