Hey everyone,

Any V-Star 650 riders who have replaced their stock handlebars with custom handlebars especially the Baron Starbar here?

not that specific one, but here's what i did...

when i first bought the handlebars, it looked very wide. But once installed, i find it looks good, and the ride is very comfortable (i used raisers also...).

Mirrors also changed...but don't have a picture of the bike with the new ones..

ahaaa, that's why i see pictures from other people in the post.. :)

yeah, throttle cables need to be changed. They have enough play, but i want the metal braided type,to match the brake line, as well as vance & hines pipes, other air filter, dual headlights, forward controls....better stop here.

Peter

The links now work......however if you put [img] in front of the link, and at the end of the link, you get this......

Very nice 650, but those throttle cables look very tight.

The handlebar looks REALLY REALLY nice. Thats what I want but minus the handlebar raiser.

thanks, yes, i'm happy with the way it looks.

without the raisers, it felt somewhat uncomfortable for me(needed to lean forward too much).

Hmm...it has me thinking as well. How tall are you? Plus what brand is the handlebar and the raiser? I just want to see if they are available in Australia

hello,

risers are highway hawk, 4" high. I first got the 6" one's, but they were too high (bit better comfort, but didn't look nice to me).

The mirrors are "Scythe" from Kuryakin.I got them in the local harley shop,so needed a converter to metric.

They do tend to vibrate when i go over 80 kph...but probably that's normal.

The handlebar i don't know what brand...just bought it at "Louis" shop in Germany.
