Hi there my 426 just died while riding in the bush yesterday. i rolled it down the hill and it started but wouldnt idle, when you pulled the clutch in, it would stop running. you couldnt kick start it and there was no sign of firing when you did kick start it. could it be CDI? Stator? (my LED lighting kit eg tailight lights up when trying to start.) Coil? (actually you couldnt see a spark, and you could kick start it and hold the plug and you would get zapped) Can you use say a WR CDI on this bike to see if it works? Sounds like CDI to me, but any info from people would be great thanks Ash

  4. i have a 2002 YZ426 and have LED lighting system on it for bush use. bloody unreal bike for bush, and has very relaible i recommend them

  6. Hi there just new to this Forum and site. this question has most likely and highly likely been done b4, but wots a good coolant for my bike? My local bike shop said you can mix all coolants(ethylene glycol) Except for a few of course. The brand he gave me was FUCHs Xtra long life coolant 250000km 5year change coolant one, well, for starters this is coolant for cars..Does not state bikes at all. And seen my friend today and he users in his WRF Nulon automotive coolant similar specs to Fuchs one. Can you use these on my bike? So is it safe to use car coolant on these bikes? IS it better to use a coolant which states is just for bikes then? Ive always used MOTUL coolant for my bike any replies would be much appreciated.. thanks and by the way YZFs rule the bush!
