THEY WORK WELL BUT IF THE SUMP IS ALLOY U HAVE TO BE CAREFULL NOT TO CRACK IT,THEY ACT JUST LIKE A RAWPLUG ,U DRILL A HOLE TO THE RIGHT SIZE THEN SCREW THEM IN THEN SCREW THE BOLT IN,IF U GET IT RIGHT THEY WILL LAST FOREVER,BUT BE CAREFULL!
i just got a 1983 xj650 every now and again it revs really high for no reason(bit scarey when riding)itook carbs off and noticed the inlet rubber mount was worn and cracked inside,any ideas how to repair it and would this cause it to rev up or could it be somewthing else,in need of some help of you clever people please
i have a y reg xj600 pre diversion that will only run when the mixture screw is turned out about 7 times instead of the recomended 2 and a half,any ideas why and what it will do to the engine if i leave it that way
