  1. Yes its a 99 on DT125R with TDR125 frame and engine numbers and its a ringer. You've been had over best get back to whoever you got it from asap.
  2. Hi everyone,Im just looking "hopeing" for a bit of help if possible. If anyone has got a DT125LC MK2/3 factory workshop manual a copy of the cable/loom routing diagrams would be a great help. Im sure the pre 88 DT200 diagrams will be the same and the DT80LC 2 diagrams 99% the same. A copy of any would be fantastic. Regards Darren
  3. Hi there Does anybody have a genuine workshop manual for the 78 Yamaha DT125/175E/MX or any tube type swinging arm DT125/175 that they could kindly scan the cable routing guide and email it to me or post the pics on here. Any help would be greatfully appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  4. I know the standard size main is a 195 on the 12A UK bikes, but the full power 10W uses a 155 as standard, this is whats confusing me.
  5. TDR125R Dellorto will fit the DT125R, you will need the inlet rubber and the carb to airbox rubber. Try a worldwide search on ebay !
  6. Hi there everyone, just finished a virtual concours rebuild of my Candy Blue 84 RD125LC 12A UK model, i have fitted a period Micron and im sure these used to nip up running standard jets with a pipe fitted. Any help with the jetting/needle clip position etc required for the Micron would be greatfully accepted. Thanks in advance !
  7. This is a common problem with DT125R,s built 99 and after. The problem you have with loosing your neutral light etc, is the main RED power wire in the loom, it comes from the battery and it splits inside the loom and goes to the regulator/rectifier then carries on up to the ignition switch. The soldered joint inside the loom has gone. Just remove it and re join all the RED wires and the bike will be fine. I have fixed this same problem on 6 month old bikes before. Its a doddle to do and takes about an hour. I use crimped on sleeve connections to repair them, you will also need a role of Black insulation tape to re tape the loom were you split into it. The relay that has been removed from under the seat is the saftey relay that deals with the sidestand switch and it is linked to the neautral light switch. You dont need it the wires can just be bypassed, pre 99 bikes dont have them. Although once the RED wire problem has been sorted out you can refit the relay if you want as its the problem with this that breaks them. Personaly i would not even take rusty BMX to your local bike shop by the sound of it ! Hope this helps. 525excsorry aka scrimsmustang
