Deffo Drewps... Perth- Blairgowrie A93 - Then up the scenic Glenshee - to Braemar - then on to Tomintoul , brilliant road, ,then to Grantown on spey.. from there, you have a choice - back over to the A9 [ only 15miles to inverness left on that bastard road,] .or, to Aviemore, then under the A9,,,,[ staying on b class roads, to Lagan ,[ spectacular views] to Spean Bridge, then a choice, north to Skye or south to Fort william,. take a right to Malaig [ ferry to Skye ] £7.00 for a bike, .then over the island , then over the bridge to mainland again, then north to Apple Cross,, this is back on the NC500,,,, heres us Halfway up the cattle pass, to applecross, , amazing,,

It was Yeller last year tommo, , i built one for my mate, and the painter,, painted the tanks yellow instead of black, So i took the black off my bike and put it on mates, i ended up wi the yellow,, that bugger is the black tank i gave away was a minter, no dents or rust,, most are toast now, [40years old], i stll have the yellow, [ i have a plan for it,

After the painter boobed last year [ yellow] i thought i"d give it a go, ,, bought a 250 tank, pulled out the big dent with a valve glued to it , filled /primer/ base & decals.

Tommy ten bikes is the XT guru, [ not been on here in ages]. the bike will be leaning over ,as the stand hole will be enlarged,- bolt worn, or the bracket thats welded to frame bent,,,,with short arses starting it on the Stand,

Also, my M,O,T tester, stuck a deflector tape on lens . to pass,, .. you can get 5inch new lence, or 5"1/5 . whatever it is,, UK spec.

Carbs have been stripped. Jets look a little worn but I imagine that'll allow more fuel in. I guess it could be giving it to rich a mixture. Might purchase a jet kit. I am now running fine filters which won't help matters. Any recommendations?
