I am looking for a workshop manual for a 1983 XV1000 Midnight Special. I am also looking for a luggage rack, screen and Engine bars for the same bike. Any help would be appreciated. Steve

Im new in here so hello from sunny Denmark. I am English but have lived here for 4 years. I have recently bought a 2006 FZ6 which I think is great. My last bike was a Intruder VS800 which was great, I did 16000km on it this year. The FZ6 is a drastic change to the Intruder but after 1000km I know I will love it. I know everything about Intruders and nothing about FZ6s so I hope you can all help. Here is a short slideshow of our biking year. Click on the smiling box top right to reduce the toolbar and when the white image loading page opens the music starts about 20 seconds later the slides will start. They are nice pics. I was out today for about 150 miles. It has been a lovely sunny day in Denmark and the trees look like all those New England brochures. Our roads are always empty. Next time Im out I will take some pics. Great pics, try and get yourself in next time.

Look at Mustang and Corbin. I had an Intruder VS800 and put on a Corbin Explorer Touring seat. I then rode 1000.045 miles in less than 24 hours, the seat was superb. I did not get the numb bum and did not want to stop to refuel. The Intruder has now gone and I have a FZ6 and yes I will be getting a Corbin seat again.

First step as previously suggested is to log on with Horizonsunlimited, all your travel questions are there. Secondly sign on with couchsurfing.com It is a great way of travelling. Connect a car cigarette lighter socket to your battery and put it under your seat. You can then use it to power a GPS and charge your camera battery up overnight. It is a simple mod and it does not drain the battery.
