Cruising bikes are great to ride......but remember i did own a harley so i may be slightly biased in my opinion......wait till he's riden through the salt and slime of winter and spends more time cleaning than riding......then look for his smile...but good luck to him and i hope he's very happy with it.

The police in our area now use this yellow and red card system for riders.....Just wondered if any of you (or anyone you know) has recieved one of these cards and whether it was a tin box copper or a Spam European rider that dished it out. I got pulled over by a spam Euro rider and by a little "chat" at the side of the road got away with a seven day wonder. Do you guys think the "caution" system will work or is it just a case of trying to defer the pocket rocket riders?

Well if i'm mid life then that would explain why i carry the spare tyre round me midrift Anyone got a razor blade they can lend me???

I use my bike for a couple of reasons..........1 it is my way of getting to and from work through the pile of metal boxes that are clogging 95% of the roads in my area, the second is it's nice to be able to enjoy me time away from the chores of lawn mowing, polishing the IKEA furniture and the missus nagging.......BTW i'm in my 30's does this mean i'm mid life???? As for the Harley thing.......It's a nice way to ride many miles comfortably whilst not going over the speed limits.....I used to own one....I admit it....I like 'em and would still have one now if it were more practicle, but i spent more time cleaning it than riding it so i bought me divvi which i clean once a week.

im sure david beckham would respond in this room himself if he could just make it closer to the bar!

It's that time of year again for me to go out and spend some of my hard earned cash making sure my Divvi is safe from the White Vans :shock: and grubby little urchins :evil: on study leave again. Trouble is I just got a renewal quote from Carol Nash and it's gone up....ok no surprise there i guess, but i now have more no claims and it rose over 37% ( yes i am a sad stat man ). After i phoned them they told me it was so cheap last time round because I got a "joining discount" but there was no such thing as a loyalty discount. Is it just me or does that blow bigger chunks than my divvi at the moment?? Any ideas on another cheap place to get insurance......I need cheap cos the wife and kids drain any spare cash I can get and i dont wanna spend all my time at work doing overtime and not on my bike. Monty PS still after a manual or advice for me divvi......although i getting used to creating a lil smoke every now and then.
