Just spoke to the local authorise yamaha dealer/garage and they have told me:- The bike does not have to idle to pass the MOT. & Does the bike have an indicator switch? if yes, then it needs indicators if not then the bike can pass without indicators. thanks again

Yeah thats what i was thinking! Something should go on the white nipple thing. As for the screw, i have given it a good screw with not much result. I've balanced the floats, screwed the air screw 1 1/4 turns, then messed with the pilot screw in and out, but the bike wont idle! Thats why im thinking something might be missing from the carb! How about that other pipe i pointed out in pic 2?? Any more ideas?

Thats the electrics sorted then! LOL Ive got the headlight and rear/brake light working. Maybe the relay for the indicators is dead , i'll have to investigate this weekend. Do you know if a bike had to idle to pass an MOT? Thanks

Was jus looking on M&P at the relay i was gonna order, but i has jus occured to me that i may actually have the relay. Does any body know if the relay is a silver'ish cylindrical unit with a 3 pronged connection?? (DT125 LC MK3)

Can i do that?? Jus removed them? Will it pass an MOT? Surley they are essential for MOT??

I have a dt125lc, which is a 6v system. The indicator relay is missing for some strange reason! Do you think i'd be able to fit any 125 6v indicator relay?? also any ideas how much one would retail for? saw one for a vespa for £15!!! i mean £15!! :shock: :shock:

I think i have 1 or 2 tubes/pipes not connected to my carb! I this might have something to do with the bike not idling!! On the DT125LC 1988 Carb , is there meant to be a tube that connects the carb to itself? a little black tube? seen one a DT but i dont have one!

How much does a bike MOT cost in the UK? and does it work the same as a car MOT with a second try if it fails? Also how much are people paying or paid for a direct access course?

YEAH I GOT THAT!, i'm talking about technical differences!

All this time i thought i had a dt125r! Turns out i have an LC! I mate pointed out the exhausts seems to be on the otherside on the DT125R :oops: , which led me to further investigation and there seems to be quite a few little differences, in terms of looks! Does anybody know the technical differences between the R and LC? Performance, Engine, Electrics Etc? Has anybody else got one?

What is the difference between the DT125R and DT125LC I have a 1989 DT125 but not sure exactly which one it is!! could be one or the other! ](*,) :roll: Any ideas??
