  1. Hi again, James. Cheers, bud. Yeah, I absolutely adore my FZ. It's no wonder you can't stop riding yours.... I have the same "problem" and get horrendous withdrawal symptoms when I'm not on mine Great bike, innit? Luckily, apart from my push bike, she's the only transport I have (or want) so I ride every day to work & back. Don't do tin boxes, unless someone gives me a Porsche 911! Ok, back to your question, no it was a quick & easy removal of the original monstrous end can to fit the Remus. HTH All the best and ride safe, dude
  2. Hi James. I have a Remus Powercone on my 2008 FZ1-N, which is awesome. You want loud? Let's just say, the baffle had to be put back IN and acoustic earplugs purchased to avoid total hearing loss. Highly recommended exhaust and it has a lovely "burble" to it on overrun No need for PowerCommander / re-mapping Cheapest found it was £270 from Craig at CalSport 0121 753 0415
  3. Hi. I can recommend the titanium Arrows for the MT-03. Lovely noisy growly cans tho you will certainly need a PowerCommander & dyno set up!

Well done Goff and chums! True rufty tufy bikers, you lot. But did ya have a massive snowball fight????
  8. Cheers, mate! I'll send him a message. I'd suggest you post some details as in this thread in the For Sale section
  9. Do you have his eBay seller ID please? You should get commission ya know!
  10. Thanks for that. Great stuff, there's nothing better than having loads of space on the track Done Cadwell too but only the short track It's very narrow tho. Enjoy it mate!!
  11. I also ride all year (no car), except when I'm feeling energetic and cycle to work. What annoys the heck out of me is that Swindon is full of cycle paths, yet so many twonks unnecessarily decide to ride on the road, causing even more traffic problems than there is already. Grrrrrrrr And don't me started on the groups of 'em taking up the ENTIRE ROAD...... aaarrrgghhhhhh WHY WHY OH WHY be so blatantly inconsiderate and quite frankly stoopid. Horses on the road....... best not, I'll explode!
  12. Nice... where did you get your rad cover from?
  13. Cool. Sounds like you had a good day. It's addictive ya know Just wait till you get to Donington..... round Hollywood to see the awesome Craner Curves snake and drop away from you Fantastic. Highly recommended. The new pit garages at Donny are sooo much better now. Who was the track day organiser and how many in the groups?
  14. Nice one! Lovely looking bike and with a Blue Flame on it too Bet that sounds ace
  15. Just an idea but have you considered an undertray? Ermax or Powerbronze. If not R&G do good tailtidies. Or there's Motrax but personally I'm not too keen on them as the quality certanly isn't as good as R&G etc. Depends on how much you want to spend tho cos R&G ain't cheap but you get what you pay for, 'eh.
  16. Yep, I can recommend Arlen Ness 'roo leathers. My husband has owned a one-piece suit for a while and rates it highly. It's incredibly light. I also have a set of kangaroo leathers but these are a two-piece made to measure by Hideout in the UK as I'm quite ickle and off the peg rarely fit. I also have some leather Alpinestars Cat Pants and an Ixon leather jacket, both of which I'm very happy with and use every day on my commute to work. The Ixon jacket especially good cos of the fit and superb supple quality leather. Anyhoo, as for helmets, I've recently switched from years of Arai to Shoei. Both excellent quality but find the Shoei lighter tho a bit noisier but this has been resolved by a "whisper kit". Good luck with finding kit you like. My recommendation is go find stuff you like, always try it on assuming the "sitting on bike crouch", note the size/model etc then go surfin' the Net to find it cheapest
  17. Hey there. My hubby Vince sold ya your bike errrr maybe, probably he can't remember
  18. Hi. I get an easy 120miles to a tank but that's after a daily 6 miles each way commute to work with a short time warming the bike up. On longer journeys I have got in a good few more miles. I'd say an easy 150 miles including reserve. Also depends on how much stick you give it tho!

    MT-03

Hi. Can anyone help please? I have a set of Arrows on my 06 MT-03 and have a major power flat-spot at about 3500rpm in second or third gear. Someone told me that if I disconnect my battery on my 06 MT-03, it will reset the ECU and "learn" the new fueling. He may be thinking about this working for cars but does it work for bikes? Personally I think a Power Commander's the solution but it's worth asking the question! Thanks.
