    Rain!

Nice one drewpy thanks, Grouch is that the kinda double layer on the inside of the visor? If so ive got one of them...it wasn't the misting up that was the issue just the water on the visor.

    Rain!

So its raining, dark, ur doin 60 and you cant see through your visor, you lift it up and the rain is whipping you in the eyes. Gonna go buy a balaclava first thing tomorrow!! Any other tips from the more experienced?
  9. Prob over tightened it, the extra turn backwards worked, not smelling today!
  10. Thats exactly my point man, with drummers its for one and all, no ego's threatened by the new guys, no competition, just the more the merrier! Its cool learning the same about bikers. Really looking forward to some rideouts in the spring! And my full training of course! Enjoyin a little winter sunshine ride this morning :-)
  11. Let me explain... Guitarists dont wanna share knowledge, or ideas or licks. They think somethin up, they wanna keep it to themselves Drummers are the opposite, come up with something cool its available for everyone to use! Bikers are the same it seems! I was a bit intimidated by bikers at first because I knew nothing and was out if my comfort zone but you lot in here are so keen to share experience and knowledge. Good on ya! Im a drummer too
  12. Adjusted up my rear brake before todays ride, turns out it really wasnt doing anything at all! So much more slow control now. However, smells a bit now, its not rubbing as the wheel is free, not heatin up either. Wondered if its just the extra use, possible the parts (shoe, drum, pads, disc i dunno - anyone?) were new too, I picked the bike up for a friend about 3 years ago after n mot prep n service and it didnt get ridden untill last month, and only today did the back brake see any real use. Works really good! Have slackened it off another turn, see if it makes a difference tomorrow.
  13. Sweet! This is my style i recon! But a bigger engine for sure!
  14. Parked up next this yesterday, think its fucking beautiful!! I felt like a twat with my SR125 and L plates!
  15. Yeah watching someone make a mistake actually really helps you learn, I benefited loads from watching the other guys on the cbt. £600 sounds like a good deal man, especially with the cbt, i got my cbt on groupon!! Best O luck next week Rafen!
  16. Thanks man thats real helpul. Its 1-1 or 2 for sure, and the place is quite reputable, they already shown me the breakdown too, and they offer a free theory test guide and samples too. I think what you said about some courses just being a rush job hit home too, I think thats a false economy! "Here, ill show you how to ride this, but not very well..."
