I would imagine some automotive blue Hylomar sealant would do the trick.

Did you source the part in Germany?
Then the closest I get is : http://www.dat.de/home.html
DAT Deutsche Automobil Treuhand GmbH
This is somesort of Nationwide (Europwide) information portal for the German automotive industry.

Yup, both my bikes imported from Holland (650/250) and now the 1200 from Belgium, prior to mot just tape off the right pointing prism.

Bom Dia,
They can have both I think.
DOHC simply refers to Double OverHead Camshaft.
YICS refers to Yamaha's (for the time) revolutionary Yamaha Induction Control System that most if not all XJ's came with.
I can't comment if one came before the other but I'm certain the anoraks will chime in soon
Pretty bike btw.

Cloggieland has nothing to do with it.

Y'know, I've noticed an infestation here. Everywhere I look, in fact. Nothing but undeveloped, unevolved, barely conscious pond scum, totally convinced of their own superiority as they scurry about their short, pointless lives.
You idiots! You don't get it - I've won! It's over! You're milksuckers! You don't matter! In fact, in just a few seconds you won't even BE matter!

If the mole grips fail , saw a slot in the head of the bolt and use an impact screwdriver to crack it off . Very handy tool for about ten quid . You can lay the bike on it's side on a couple of car tyres to make the bolt easier to get at . Best of luck .
Not discounting what you say Kev but hitting the cr*p out of the bottom of an oil pan ?
Angle grind two good flat edges on opposite sides of the fubared nut and a big (close fitting) shifter will do the rest.

For a quick fix see if you can get your hands one one of those vacuum oil scavenging pumps.
Warm up oil, tube down the fill hole, suck, suck, suck, for the last bit lean bike over a bit.
May not get all the gremlins from the bottom of the pan but better than running with oil past its shelf life.
Gives you options to think how to tackle the shot plug

Made me laugh anyway, what a 100 million a year between them and they can't win f**k all.
England are the fifth most valuable squad at the Euros according to the calculations of transfermarkt.co.uk.
Roy Hodgson’s side would set you back £334.5m should you wish to have them all sign for your club.
Raheem Sterling is the Three Lions’ most valuable player with an estimated market value of £37.5m.
He’s followed by Wayne Rooney (£30m), Harry Kane (£22.5m) and John Stones (also £22.5m)
- Iceland: 31.2
Ahum
disclaimer : I don't like the Clogs either ..... lol

Put brain in gear before you turn your right hand !!

Just had to google this MT10 gizmo.

G'day Mate,
That looks suspiciously like a Yamaha XT-250 ..... or what's left of it. 4 stroke 1 cylinder 250 CC
(Edit : must have missed Malleus post - I stand corrected ..... ah well close enough .... and pic replaced by correct one)
Although the exhaust on European models is on the LHS but this could be a previous owner bastardisation.
