I put my xvs in Neutral and tap out a tune on my tank like its a set of bongos and tap my feet allot of the time.

Is anyone going to Stormin this year? Il sbe there bold as brass! As far as Im aware the tickets are £30 from an outlet or £40 on the gate. Im dead excited coz this year I have my own bike and Il not be riding bitch! Heh

I know this a really old post but I had a very similar problem. It turned out that my Regulator Rectifier was capoot and I picked one up for £25 at my local bike grave yard. Make sure you write diwn the colours of the wires so you dont get the wrong one. Failing that you can find em all over ebay for a similar price

cheers for the advise I have just tightened it up as far as possable. I was just hopeing for a quick answer as its going for an MOT tomorrow and iv had the back wheel off to change the tyre and give it a good clean before I send it up and with me not long having it iv not had time to get the manual but thanks for the offers of selling me one I may take you up if my dad hasnt ordered it already.

could someone tell me the torque setting for the rolling chassi for my dragstar.

The seond pair seem to be more along the lines of a protective glove instead of a statement.

found my wheel size 130/9.15 cheapest Iv found is £50 not a top brand but me Uncle said it would be good enough for summer. thye bugger is Its not gna be road savvy till first weekend of april due to moths invading my bank haha.

I just spent all me money on the Dragstar lol. I had a good look through all the paper work and discovered that the MOT ran out yesterday haha. And my Uncle had a good look at it today as Im a total Noob on bikes and I may need a new chain and back sprocket and definately will need a new back tyre. **sigh** the biggest kick in me ball bag is that I cant afford all that plus tax and insurance for a few weeks haha so I am still bus bound.. any Idea of how much a back tyre may cost?

I found that the image was to big. I was uploading the picture from my phone and it dosent have a scale down so Il put it on my laptop and shrink it down. Thanks for the advise

Hello everyone My name is Rob. Iv just passed my CBT and Iv managed to buy a Yamaha XVS Dragstar. I can honestly say its a gorgeous ride. I had such a time trying to get my first bike and without going into details Im glad that my troubles led to this bike.
