The 3rd partys insurers contacted me today to say the "gent" that kindly tried to run me off the road claims full responsibility and my bike needs to go off for evaluation and a hire bike to be given in exchange paid for by his insurance. yamaha ybr tomora between 2-3pm get in! Claiming on loss of earnings injury comp and repairs also the hire vehicle now too. Would also like to add i had a healthy little girl last night at 02:48am wieghing 8lbs 6oz so life right now couldnt be any better right now!

Once the insurance have dealt with everything believe me i'll be going back to pay the prick a lesson but at the time i thought £££ especially when he had the biggest house and hands me a card saying managing director for a pharmacy drugs comp in london haha i work in a hosp so paid my doctor friends a visit bout my "ouch" damaged leg... Im now on paternity leave so lets jus say i requested early due to injury thats a loss of earnings claim right there...

After my experience last night its not just young but also old and middle aged hot heads that drive cars that cause most accidents as yesterday evening on my way home some wanker late 50s in a bmw m3 rams my bike twice at lights as he didnt like me pulling up infront of him at traffic lights when it was a stand still and then when driving along he bumper is literally touching my back wheel when i slowed to 10mph he went to over take on te wrong side of the road with a car oncoming the other way to then throw his car into the right hand side of me i was very lucky to not have been knocked off and recieved very little damage did he stop nooo i followed him to his house and called the police did the police do anything did they fuck!? Outcome to all this i believe it dont matter what form of transport u are using if ur a dick or being stupid to show off to ur mates then ur lookin for an accident no matter what cc bhp u have... Rant over thankyou for listening!

What ive read is that a pv can be fitted to the rxs after changing jets? Ive also seen youtube clips and other bits stating there bike has a pv ect? Was just curious if theres any truth in it or just a load of talk? Thanks

So if someones on a cbt provisional license u can get a say 250cc and have it restricted to 33bhp say and not be breaking any laws? I always thought u was not to ride a bike with an engine size any bigger than that of a 125cc regardless the restictions you can apply...?

Does anyone know if a rd 350 ypvs power valve would fit the rxs ive heard a rumour but nothing solid...?

Hi all so i started my project today im new to this so will be happy to take advice ect but not completely clueless.. Today i was mainly stripping one of the rxs's which is a crash recovery as there is a few bits i want to steal from it and some bits to sell on to help fund. The one i Stripped is a 88 model the keeper to be refurbed is 1990 heres some pics so far today didnt get a grea deal done weather was pretty poo! Just got the folks and lump left to take out.. This is my project im goin to restore back to full health.. And heres parts from the recovered bike i want to transfer.. Will update when ive done some more

Thanks for all your help guys bike was drained insurers were contacted but told me as its human error and not machanical they will charge so i thought not for a job i can do myself... Engines running clean agen and grouch "head fuck" u have no idea my missus due date was yesterday shes due to drop any minute so yea really need the transport at the mo! :/ thansk again all!

Yes i had to. I was on my way to work hence being in a rush :/ its running seems ok is dark smoke coming from exhaust tho.

It is about 20-25% diesel... Really not sure wha to do. Think im going to call my insurance as im fully comp will they help?

Someone please help in a rush this morning i filled my bike with £4 worth of diesel so to be acurate i can fill my bike with nearly £14 so filling up £4 of diesel then £6 of unleaded meanin there was approx £3 of unleaded in the tank already... I feel its right to drain the tank now but a guy who knows a thing or two about bikes has said it should be ok. Help is much required and appreciated... When i smell the tank i cant smell diesel just petrol.
