  1. Hello and welcome mate. How much experience have you got ?
  2. You a one lucky git to be in a place so nice. Here in Burgundy the weather wasn't that good so I decided to strip my bike down in preperation for a complete engine rebuild and a new paint job. Unfortunately I don't have a garage so i had to get it into my cellar. The worse thing was that this afternoon the sun came out and all I could hear was the beautiful sound of bikes.
  3. Sorry officer I must have dozed off. Thank god your siren woke me!
  4. Hi to everyone I've got a 1991 yamaha FZ 750 an I'm looking for some ideas to spruce it up a little. When I bought it it was missing all of its fairings. I bought the neccesary parts but they will need to be painted. I thought about trying to make it look larger at the front as well as a complete paint job. If any of you have any ideas about what I could do it would be nice. Thanks Paul

    Funny Stories

I was pissing myself when I read this. Cheers for sharing it. My first accident was with an old CZ250 that I bought for about 50 quid. I was wth a few mates who had mopeds and we were pissing about on an old farm road with a couple of sleeping policeman. After watching them using the speed bump as a launch pad I decide to try for myself. After a long run up and just after putting it in 5th I stood on the pegs, the bike hit the bump and took off. Unfortunately the farmers gate arrived a split second after the bike hit the ground. The impact of the bike threw me over the gate into a cow field. Luckily I wasn't hurt but the bike was dead. Thinking back I know it was a stupid thing to do but that's what happens when you're young.
  6. Hi mate, I'm legally about an hour and half from Auxerre. Not far from Dijon. Where are you in Spain?
  7. I leave in the Burgundy region which is on the way to Switzerland. If anyone fancies a ride out let me know and I can meet you up somewhere. Also I can get in touch with some local bikers to find out about decent routes and campsites. Paul
  8. If I were you mate I'd look at buying a cheap 600 until I got used to riding. The last thing you want to do is blow all your money away especially if god forbid you finish up in a tree. It's also better to gain in pure experience before jumping on a bike which you find too powerful. Takes the fun out of it. Check ot the used bikes in your area and test ride a couple before making your mind up. As for which is better the answer is obviously Yamaha. But as it was mentioned before we are bias. Take your time in making your mind up.
  9. Hi all Paul 33 years old English born living in Beaune France. I've been riding on and off for the last 15 years and I recently bought a FZ750 model 3KS 1991. Any of you planning on a trip over here this year let me know 'cause it'd be nice to ride with some Brits.
